Brain Dead x Them Skates

We are ecstatic to announce the release of our latest collaboration with independently owned and operated Them Skates. Founded by legendary inline skater Jon Julio, Them Skates is as core as it gets. After winning the National Championship in 1996, Jon Julio has lived a life dedicated to the art of inline skating. “Wait! It’s not over!” - Yandriel Silverio. New York City — August 28th, 2021. Things come and go as times change but the Boschi Pope Skate Off is still holding on strong as we all came together for another year here in NYC. Boschi was in the crowd once again cheering with everyone as we all watched it go down. Personally, I took it a bit easy this year as I really wanted to hang with everyone and catch up with friends so I didn’t film as much coverage as usual but I can definitely tell you that I had a great time. This year was no exception and once again I had chance to be part of Blading Camp and coach the campers from all over the globe. Thank you Josh Glowicki, Uani and everyone else who I met for the amazing week. PRO Contest: In front of a dense crowd gathered around the Park on this Sunday afternoon, Rémi Santos took the Gold thanks to his big transfer between two quarters. He was followed by Peter Lecouls, who get the second place with a solid run in front of the local Yanis Mostefaoui and his huge backflip.

AM Contest: First to drop in at today’s Roller finals, the Spanish Emilia Parejo put on her inline skates again straight after she won the Amateur contest earlier in the day. As the only female in her discipline, she went big in front of the Pros to make the most of her runs.
