Sam Crofts third USD Aeon Pro Skate is out now! Promo Speech:“For my third pro skate from USD I’ve designed another skinned Aeon 60. In an effort to make my skate more sustainably sourced I’ve this time chosen a Vegan / PU leather. I’ve been extensively testing various types of Vegan / PU leather skins over the course of the last 18 months and I’m very confident what we’ve come up with is even better than the real suede/leather used on my previous skate. I was fortunate that the release of this skate coincided with the release of my first aftermarket pro MyFit second skin liner, which will also come with this skate as standard. The liner follows the same classic MyFit second skin silhouette, but has been constructed with upgraded materials; a super hardwearing vegan suede exterior to prevent any holes caused by abrasion or pressure points from the inside of the skate to give the liner an extended life. I added a very comfy recall innersole for extra comfort on longer session and I rounded it off with a classic 14 wale corduroy top to match my favourite pants, embroidered with my signature geometric fox. We also upgraded the wheels, the skate now comes with the premium Undercover Apex 60mm wheels and Wicked Abec 9 bearings for super fast bowl and park skating, making this my fastest and highest spec pro skate yet!” - Sam Crofts.

The USD Carbon Free Carlos Bernal 2 is the well-deserved second Pro skate for Carlos, who has been representing USD for many years, starting as a local Spanish flow rider and working his way all the way up to the world pro team, consistently putting out one hammer edit after another showcasing his amazing skating.

The carbon-free uses glass-fiber reinforced plastic for the shell base. This construction feels a bit softer than the carbon and offers additional flex and freedom of movement.

The trainer-like appearance gives you the lowest volume and creates one of the lightest skates on the market. The solid PU cuffs allow the perfect amount of flex, whilst providing sufficient support. The low-profile sole plate complements the overall lightweight design whilst still remaining fast and durable on all grinds and slides. The soul plates and cuffs are available in a variety of colors giving you many customization options.

USD is proud to reveal the Aeon Crofts II, the first full skinned USD Aeon.

Sam Crofts second pro Aeon features the same classic Aeon unibody construction but with a full premium real suede upper and comes as standard with the highly anticipated second generation Aeon cuff. The new suede skin is double stitched along its’ contours and extra reinforced with a dense overstitch and rivets at the high stress points.

The skate also features Sam’s pro Myfitliner Second Skin liner, waxed hockey style laces, an upgraded thicker shock absorber, high speed UHR (Ultra High Rebound) wheels and Abec 7 Wicked Bearings. A full upgrade and revamp of the modern classic of aggressive street skating.

“For my latest pro skate from USD I’ve chosen another Aeon 60. The Aeon skate series is a project that I’ve been involved with since the start and is a product I’ve come to identify my skating within, making it the obvious choice again for my new pro model. This time I worked with the design team to create a skinned version to soften the overall look of the skate and give it a more classic sneaker aesthetic. We also developed a new taller height-adjustable cuff to give you a slight increase in flex for topsides but also offers more support and allows for more comfortable and longer skating sessions. I removed the 45-degree strap as I think waxed laced alone provides a sufficient heel lock. The skate comes with 61mm USD Team wheels, Wicked ABEC 9 bearings, and lastly to complete the skate I chose my favorite liner, the MyFit 2nd skin. During this session I also had the the opportunity to film with Kalléo Hipolito, Lucas Fernandes and Jimmy! - Ricardo Lino.
