USD is proud to reveal the Aeon Crofts II, the first full skinned USD Aeon.
Sam Crofts second pro Aeon features the same classic Aeon unibody construction but with a full premium real suede upper and comes as standard with the highly anticipated second generation Aeon cuff. The new suede skin is double stitched along its’ contours and extra reinforced with a dense overstitch and rivets at the high stress points.
The skate also features Sam’s pro Myfitliner Second Skin liner, waxed hockey style laces, an upgraded thicker shock absorber, high speed UHR (Ultra High Rebound) wheels and Abec 7 Wicked Bearings. A full upgrade and revamp of the modern classic of aggressive street skating.
“For my latest pro skate from USD I’ve chosen another Aeon 60. The Aeon skate series is a project that I’ve been involved with since the start and is a product I’ve come to identify my skating within, making it the obvious choice again for my new pro model. This time I worked with the design team to create a skinned version to soften the overall look of the skate and give it a more classic sneaker aesthetic. We also developed a new taller height-adjustable cuff to give you a slight increase in flex for topsides but also offers more support and allows for more comfortable and longer skating sessions. I removed the 45-degree strap as I think waxed laced alone provides a sufficient heel lock. The skate comes with 61mm USD Team wheels, Wicked ABEC 9 bearings, and lastly to complete the skate I chose my favorite liner, the MyFit 2nd skin. I added some personal details to the liner to represent London, the city I call home.” Text by Sam Crofts.

So stoked on this 3rd pro boot from USD. I can’t thank all of you (the fans and supporters) enough for the countless years of support. This wouldn’t be possible with out all of you so, thank you all Blade Fam. - Montre Livingston.
The new USD Aeon Roman Abrate Pro 68 is now available world wide!
“After skating the USD Seven for five years I wanted to try something new to help me go faster and air higher in the big parks and transitions. So I started experimenting with using 68mm wheels in the Aeon 72mm shell and quickly fell in love with this new set up. The Aeon’s unibody concept plus larger wheels allow me to maximize my energy transfer on larger transitions helping me to maintain speed in my contest runs. Using a slightly smaller wheel in the 72mm Aeon shell gives me plenty of space to still confidently do all my h-block grinds whilst slightly reducing my ride height without losing any excess speed.
I also worked with my wheel sponsor Undercover to develop the apex wheel and have included these in my set up. I selected a unique colorway, added a soft top, the new improved cuff, and of course my favorite MyFit 2nd skin liners for comfort and performance to complete my latest and fastest pro skate”. - Roman Abrate.
This is the USD Aeon 80. It is the perfect combination between free skating and aggressive. You have 80mm wheels which is the standard on freeskates so you can still stairbash and do slides, but on top of that you can also grind.
So you can mix in with your normal skate routes a few grinds or you can also learn aggressive skating without having to have 2 pairs of skates. It has got a groove and a soulplate and so you can mix in a lot of tricks you couldn’t do on a freeskate but also not get tired as you would on an aggressive skate, the perfect combination of the two.
The great thing is that you have 80mm wheels so it feels like a distance or fitness skate but if you see a little step like this you can throw in a grind! It’s a great way to transition from freeskate or fitness to aggressive (and vice versa) For example you can stall, find the plate, Then jumping Then you can do it grinding! So you’re skating, you find a skatepark, and then you go - Oh! I’ll do another trick! - Oli Benet.
