Sam Crofts skates the new USD Sway 60 XXI in the Mile End Skatepark in East London and talks about the new features the skate has!
Don’t underestimate the USD Sway 60 XXI. Once considered an entry-level aggressive inline skate, the newly designed Sway with a sleek minimalist style is a capable, durable aggressive skate you can count on. An inline skate doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. The USD Sway 60 XXI has a minimalist, reliable hard boot that’s designed to take on even the most demanding conditions. Complemented with a supportive cuff, comfortable liner, and a shock absorber that will help you land big grinds and even bigger grinds with confidence. Whether you’re just getting into aggressive inline skating, or you’re a veteran skater looking for a capable, durable skate that can take a beating, the USD Sway 60 XXI is an excellent option. It comes with the proven KIZER Fluid V frame that’s designed for flat setups, giving you plenty of speed and stability, while incorporating a large central grind area that’s perfect for flat setups. Rolling on long-lasting USD 60mm wheels and WICKED ABEC 7 bearings, there’s a lot to love about the USD Sway 60 XXI aggressive skate.

STREETS OF LAGOS | (African Rollerblading Documentary) by Dom West
Shot on location in West Africa, ‘Streets of Lagos’ provides a rare insight into the lives of Nigeria’s first generation of rollerbladers. What was once a niche sport that saw widespread participation across the globe in the late 90’s has emerged in 2020 as a fringe subculture in the streets of Lagos. Originally used as a way to navigate the city’s dense traffic, today, a select few use their skates as a form of self-expression, something which can be hard to find in what is one of the toughest cities in the world.
The story is told through the eyes of Daniel Ogbogu, Lagos’ strongest up-and-coming street skater, who gives insight into the struggles of daily life in Nigeria and the strength that skating gives him. He is joined by travelling professional athlete, Brian Freeman, who seeks to nurture the sense of community amongst the youths of Lagos and to help them find sense in the chaotic world in which they live.
A Film by Dom West. Starring Daniel Ogbogu & Brian Freeman. Soundtrack: Rob Law & Music Bed. Shot on location: Lagos, Nigeria.
