After testing the Sola Frame street version with the V1 H-Block I got some V2 H-Block and tried them out, really interesting that the shape of a H-Block can change so much. - Sascha Reichert.
About the Sola Street Frames - V2 H-Block (2020-1 - Price: $179, 140€)
Precision, Strength and Control. The Solá Equipment Street Frames were born from a dialogue between Kyle Solá and Dominik Wagner regarding the optimal flat-rocker frame, and the reintroduction of a lightweight metal construction into street skating.
The feedback-driven development process led to the prototyping of the first development prototypes in 2015. With the valuable inputs from Dominik Wagner and Joe Atkinson, prototypes were continuously developed, tested and improved through to the first production in 2018.
- Streamlined Frame Body
- Extruded 6061 T6 hardened aluminum, CNC milled into its final shape
- Treated with a surface-hardening anodized finish
- Laser engraved with model specifications and specific production lot number
- Universal Frame System (UFS) bolt configuration to fit all corresponding boots
- Max. Wheel Size - 60mm
- Replaceable H-block System - V2
- The replaceable H-Block is made from a naturally slick and wear resistant injection-molded polymer for all-around street or park skating.
- The V2 h-block design provides increased protection against wheel bite.
- Recommended for flat-rockered setups.
- One-Way Axles - Version 2
- The CNC turned, Black Oxide Steel Alloy screw directly into frame walls, reducing weight and complexity.
- 10mm deep tool cavity helps to keep bolt heads from stripping with regular use
- A nylon patch is bonded to the threads, adding friction to resist loosening from vibration
- Two spare axles included in each package […] More pictures & specs.

Previously: Dominik Wagner in New York - Dreaming With No Sleep (2017) with James Perez.
Dominik Wagner was in New York for a couple of days. He arrived on October 19th. Although I had a busy schedule with school, and Dom had a tight schedule with work, were able to spend quality time on and off the blades. It was dope to see a dear friend that I haven’t personally seen in years, but of course we always stay in touch and communicate. We managed to get a few clips each, and i decided to put them together as a gift for Dom. I hope you enjoy what I’ve put together.
It was dope to skate the Brooklyn Banks with Dominik. I remember years ago, when we were in the area, Downtown Manhattan. We were standing in front of the Brooklyn Banks, and for those that may not know, there is a police station across the street. Dominik was ready to hop over and climb over the gate to get into the banks. Haha I had to stop him and tell him to chill, cops would have arrested us on the spot, this was during the period that cops guarded the Bk banks because of the construction equipment.
Besides work, Dominik was also in New York for our friends wedding. Our dear friend Shawn Engler recently tied the knot and got married. It was a beautiful ceremony, with the New York City sky line in the background. While the ceremony took place, the love and the city was so vibrant. Congratulations to Shawn and Coco!! Much blessings for you the your future. - James Perez.
Filmed by: James & Bryan Perez. Edited by: James Perez.
Delfon Dio, A film by Karsten Boysen & Benjamin Buttner.
“So, you take the dirt track, take a BMX dirt track, and then just dip it in concrete… Fondue, you know? And there it is: bee hive”. - David Sizemore.
For our three week trip to Greece, we didn’t plan many locations, but this was one was a must do! Featuring: Scott Quinn, Carson Starnes, Chris Farmer, Josh Glowicki, Joe Atkinson, David Sizemore, Dominik Wagner, Chris Smith & Richie Eisler.
Thank you to everyone who bought Delfon Dio so far! All the profits are being used to put right back into the next big Cayenne trip coming up very soon :) Go get the video at Thecayenneproject.com and help us fund the next one!
