Chris Haffey is part athlete, part stuntman, part survivor. He’s a professional rollerblader who started getting recognition for his skating when the industry was at its peak and became one of the top skaters in the world as the bottom was dropping out. While his peers were leaving the sport to find other ways to support themselves, Chris landed on the Nitro Circus, touring arenas across the globe with a motley crew of bad-asses.
The Winterclash. A yearly tradition to shred Area Fifty One in Eindhoven, Netherlands for all skaters worldwide. In 2017, USD Skates will release 2 new Pro models, the first one for Eugen Enin, a Carbon Free complete skate and a Montre Livingston Sway skate.
So it only made sense to mesh up these two living legends in a short raw-ish edit, featuring a selection of their tricks in between the competition. Shot and cut by Mark Heuss.
Nitro Circus inline superstar Chris Haffey was joined by two very special guests for the two Tokyo shows on our quick four-stop tour of Japan.
Brothers Takeshi Yasutoko and Eito Yasutoko are aggressive inline vert skate champions from Japan. Inline fans will need no introduction to these two. Between them, they have won as many as 20 gold medals at the X-Games.
Takeshi holds the Guinness World Record for being the youngest X Games athlete ever ; he was 11 years old when he made his first appearance at the games in 1998. It was incredible having them with us, and we can’t wait to perform with them again in Osaka. - Nitro Circus.
