“Greeting friends! Since I’ve moved to the north of Iran from Esfahan, everything changed. I’m living in a small town called Nowshahr by the sea currently. There is no good situation for skating, the structure of Nowshahr is new and has no element for grinding ; if you find some, it has security :D”

“So I decided to skate whenever i go to travel. There is a local skatepark called Sarvskatepark at Behshahr city, 220 far away from Nowshahr, i’m going there every month for skating with 1 or 2 friends but I never leave solo sessions as you can see. I have planned to start a project with other good skaters from Mashhad city in order to make a VOD all over the mazanadaran this year winter. Stay tuned!” - Siavash Sohrabi.

Filmed by Sajad Tajali in Esfahan, Iran in 2 months in 2021-2022. After my injury, i tried to have fun around the city, exploring it and having fun ; all this motivated by ‘A man named Scott’ a movie about Kid Cudy. - Siavash Sohrabi.

I was injured on my 27th birthday at a morning solo session, these are clips of my recently session. I chose to skate with Salomon skates one size bigger than my feet with a thin roces liner to show that I can do it with every skate, and maybe get a sponsor. I don’t know when my dislocated elbow with a fracture will heal but I’m already missing skating after 5 days. I was alone 1.5 hour when I fell, got surgery after 13 hours waiting, my parents paid a lot of money, and I realized that I’m spending too much for just my love, the tool of my mind. This profile shows you why I’m unrated. After 14 years I found my own skating style. These were filmed in maybe 2-3 months. I stopped this project because I have cameraman issues, i skated half of these clips with a crack on my shell, couldn’t trust to my skates for heavy tricks.

I wanted to make this as a documentary and talk about my life, limitations, Iran and things I’ve been through past those years. No one can imagine what it is like, but limitations gave me power, and made me who I am today. […] - Siavash Sohrabi.
