The New York Skate Series, now in its third year, held three events in the summer of 2016: First in Brooklyn, second in Staten Island, and lastly in the Bronx. Get comfy because this is a long one.

Watch as Adonis Taylor, Jesus Medina, Craig Benabu, and all the skaters/spectators involved take you through each event and relive some of the good times we all had in the process.

Highlight video of the 11 annual King of the Street contest held yearly in Calgary. Filmed and edited by Jesse Jost (Youtube).

Each year skaters from across Canada come to Calgary to compete for the honour of being King of the Street. King of the Street was started by Tom Dixon to promote “real street skating”.

B4 Winterclash. The event took place in Planetpark (Brussels, Belgium) and gathered an impressive amount of top skaters, but like previous years, it has been hard to get any coverage, being followed by the Tsunami that the Winterclash is.

You usually get some late edit ; check the coverage by Tyriek Gibson (april 2017) and this USD video featuring Richier Eisler & Dano Gorman destroying the park (filmed outside the comp, but definately worth a look).

The first event from NYSS in 2017 which takes place at Continental Army Plaza in Brooklyn, NY. The format has changed which added tons of small prizes anyone can win through multiple mini competitions. Overall it was small, fun, and filled with positive vibes.
