“We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams” - Arthur O’Shaughnessy.
New York City, New York 2022-2024. As someone who joined the community in 2020, Amber Rivera’s skating is progressing at a fast rate and it has been an eye opener to watch her fearlessly try new things and push her own boundaries. She is never picky about spots and will skate anything that is put in front of her…and she does it all with a huge smile. - butterTV.
The idea was simple: five dams in five days, skate them, film them, and see what happens. What began as a concept for a skate promo turned into a journey that pushed both skating and storytelling into new spaces. Each dam carried its own atmosphere, shaping the way tricks and visuals came to life. This was never just a trip. It became a moving residency on the road, where the heat, the architecture, and the exhaustion became part of the process. Five days of travel, five massive structures, and the challenge to create something unique at every stop.

The best rollerbladers competing against each other in a video edit competition driven by the inline skating community for the culture. Check all the entries here (Youtube Playlist).
Fundraiser: Link on Gofundme.com - 8 074 £ funded so far (should be around the same value in $/€, 20% more or less)
50% of what’s raised will be split equally between the skaters as a base rate for taking part - So they are getting paid for their efforts, which I think is a first for a rollerblading competition. The other 50% will be awarded to the Community Winners 1st, 2nd, 3rd, voted for by you and the Expert Winner, selected by a panel.
Check all the entries on this Youtube Playlist. Featuring: Robert Spassov, Julien Cudot, Seba Seufferheld, Levi van Rijn, Nils Jansons & more. You can vote here for your favorite entry.
