In the early 90s, Sven Boekhorst traveled the world for inline skating competitions and events. Now, he has an important role working with Rollerblade and still travels across the globe to skate and create content.

One thing has never changed for the flying Dutchman - the love for street skating. During Sven’s latest trip to Barcelona with filmmaker Greg Mirzoyan, the duo found some time to hit some street spots. The extra time to hit street spots together is icing on the cake!

Back in February, the crew and I ventured over to Europe for Winterclash 2023, followed by a week of street skating in Barcelona. Battling the same Winterclash flu you probably caught, and some lingering jet lag, we arrived in Barca feeling hella dusty but excited to finally see what this infamous skate wonderland had to offer… and it did not disappoint! - Robert Kellett.

“As for myself, my leg was bruised from knee to toes & twice the normal size after tearing the muscle of my shin (fun!) at Winterclash the week before, So I didn’t put my skates on once the entire time! Still, I’m grateful I was able to walk around, explore, share some epic memories with my best mates and film them getting jiggy with it in the streets! Here’s what we managed to capture during our time there - Went for a different vibe with the music on this one but hope y’all dig it! Headphones recommended!”.

It’s that time of year again, Remy Cadier’s annual Birthday edit. “I Was injured too much for my liking this year, but still managed to stack a couple clips around Europe. 46 years old, and feeling it, but mostly the next day! Spots include Barcelona, Amsterdam, Brussels, Tilburg and other places you’ve never heard of. Thanks to all my homies for taking the time to film a clip and join in on the sessions! You all rock! “Unfortunately due to a torn meniscus I was unable to finish my pro skate video. It’s been a long road to recovery and I wasn’t sure if could ever skate at this level again. Luckily the operation went perfect and I a now fully recovered and back on my skates”.
