Flashback (2013): A few days ago, Chynna Weierstall and I headed up to the Secret Garden, a new DIY spot the Detroit bladers have been building, to film a few tricks on the first completed obstacle: a 14' cement ledge with a metal edge. Here’s the few tricks we got before the rain really started coming down.
Chynna is still recovering from a separated ligament in her left ankle. She has one more surgery on it and then should be healthy by the winter.
We start work tomorrow on the next obstacle at the garden: a 5′ quarterpipe and we have extensive plans past that. This will no doubt be only the first of many SG edits. - Al Dolega.
