8 DOWN originally started as just a homie video from the south with no name or direction about 2 years ago. We were already steady stacking footage of Philip Moore and Matty Schrock in Birmingham Alabama but exactly weren’t sure what would happen with it. Luckily Ray Kronenberg and Taylor Popham just so happened to be doing the same thing in Chattanooga Tennessee
After Ray’s computer biting the dust and losing some motivation we decided to collaborate all of our footage together to make one solid southern piece. Coming up with a name was tough until we came up with 8 DOWN one night in LA since everyone in the video skates flat rocker and is a homage to an old Radius Media article.
After about 2 years of filming, and traveling from the southeast out to California the video has finally come to fruition and is complete. The south proudly presents 8 DOWN.
Featuring: Ray Kronenberg, Matty Schrock, Philip Moore & Taylor Popham and many more. Main Camera: Mike Buckalew, Ray Kronenberg & Taylor Popham. Artwork by: Parker Richardson. Runtime: 35 minutes.

“Definitely the farthest I’ve ever travelled to film for a skate video, Chattanooga and Birmingham to Los Angeles and more. Some good dudes, some good tunes, and good times captured in this one, hope y’all enjoy!”. - Ray Kronenberg.
Flashback: Brian Aragon showing love for one of his homies and teammates, Mathias Silhan, with this full length section rocking his new pro skate. Shot and edited by Scotty Olsen, the edit showcases some classic Colorado spots along with some new, amazing looking skateparks. Solid and precise as always, Brian definitely lays it down. Stoked!
Music: Kanye West – New God Flow ft. Pusha T.
Started blading in 1997 and 20 yrs later I’m still at it. I turned 34 a few ago or so and got influenced by Troy Maimone and his 30 for 30. I guess you can say this was my blade challenge. - John Sullivan.

CBW aka Cheese Burger Wednesday is a weekly meet up of rollerbladers alike deep within the city buildings in Pilsen, a neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. The event happens at a local hostile, creative art studio, under the supervision of an adult rollerblading, futuristic being named Dave Depew.
3 members of the local organization traveled south on interstate 65 for a small holiday. After a number of days spent in Nashville, Tennessee, the Chicago natives found themselves posted in a motel off 65 North in a little ole’ town named Bowling Green. They spent an entire day ripping the bluegrass topped hills of Western Kentucky University with me & Milk Shake.
Here are some of the in-line antics from that said day. Starring David Depew. Featuring appearances by Chris McCormick, Rory Melehan, & Hunter Cooper. If you ever find yourself lost with time to kill in the Windy City, on a Wednesday, stop by Dave O D’s and catch one with cheese. Veggie patties are more than welcome. Kiss the Q for me!
