INFERNO Vol. 1 finds Bobi Spassov and Cody Lampman skating the streets of London during seven days of straight mayhem. Not your ordinary brand welcome video.
Shot by the talented Eryk Eryk Pilch. Cut by Cody Lampman.
The Birth of Inferno by Cody Lampman
“Bobi and I met at a small contest in London. Like many others, I had been a fan of his skating for half a decade. Meeting in person, we bonded over a few shared ideals, our sobriety, and our similar approaches to making edits.
I appreciate humility and authenticity above all else. Bobi embodies these two adjectives in full. He is as comfortable with a beginner skater as he is talking to the legends. He is more fully a representation of our culture than many of the “pros” I know, who are more concerned with their image than interacting with the next generation.
He is also the hardest-working skater I have ever met. […] - Cody Lampman.
Bobi Spassov Playlist
Inferno Playlists asks your favorite skaters to create custom mixes based on their favorite artists, parts, movies and overall inspirations. Our first mix is by Inferno co-founder and style god Bobi Spassov. Read on to find one hell of a hard mix.
“For my fourth Pro Aeon from USD, I wanted to create a simplified classic aeon aesthetic, but with the latest high spec features. Starting with removing the skin and selecting a timeless USD cream colour in homage to skates such as the Fredrick, Arlo and All-Star team Thrones of the past.
Working with the MyFit design team I created a new pro liner in the silhouette of the latest MyFit Prime liners. I selected these for maximum support and responsiveness, but with an added recall innersole for that instant out-the-box comfort. As usual, I removed the 45-degree straps and added extra high-quality waxed laces. I rounded the skate off with my ‘Le Planet Sauvage’ pro wheels from Undercover’s Blockbuster range and Wicked ABEC 9 bearings.” - Sam Crofts.
Shot on location in Brixton, London. Filmed & Edited by Joe Harvey / Raygun London.

HAPPY - THE EXTENDED MIX :)
Filmed over a couple of spring weekends before Martin’s Knee Operation. When I posted this I didn’t have the words to add so I will leave a message from the man himself: “I went to war for this part, physically and mentally. We chose a song that reflects my long lasting love for this profession. I’ve applied myself for the best part of 24 years! I hope you all enjoy !".
Martin’s words sum this up perfectly, he went to town on the spots giving it his all in the weekends leading up to his operation. The commitment and sacrifice Martin gave with the potential of aggravating a long term injury shows how much he loves rollerblading. As always the time spent making this was inspiring and rewarding in equal parts. I thank Martin for all of this as without him taking these risks I’d just be another dude with a camera, for his friendship and for everyone who helped us make this happen.

“This needed to be re-up’d. Filmed in one day, down one street in the UK’s capital, London. This demonstrates how hard wearing the Go project wheels are. And how they can handle punishment when Leon Humphries serves his sorcery. Leon is not messing around when it comes to blading, or anything else, as a matter of fact”.
“62mm of tough urethane can be purchased here. I filmed this with Leon’s HD Panasonic HPX170 (I think it is?) and my Sony VX700 - a great combo! Enjoy!”. - Jon Lee.
Music: Lil Ugly Mane - predominance.
“Due to high demand, We have brought this project back online and are pleased to officially release this project as many great memories were captured. We hope you enjoy this contribution to the world of blading media, and are currently cooking up a couple of fresh projects for your viewing pleasure”.
“Feel free to chuck a few queenheads in the tin for a beer or 4 - these pints aren’t getting any cheaper (Paypal Link). Filmed in between Joe Atkinson travels, in London. Cheers to the fun times!” - Jon Lee.
