Quoting Tillet (News Report):
Daredevil rollerblader smashes own record. A Frenchman has set a new world record for the longest jump on rollerblades in front of thousands of spectators at the weekend.
Thirty-five-year old Taig Khris launched off a 150m long ramp in front of Paris’ Sacre Coeur Basilica (Sacred Heart) monument and achieved a world record jump of 29m, French website QuestFrance.fr reports.
After an initial jump of 28.4m, Khris had already broken the previous record of 24m, which was set by American Danny Way.
Spurred on by the thousands of people who had gathered to see him, the adrenalin junkie rolled down the custom-made launch pad and managed to improve his jump by a metre before safely landing on an inflatable cushion.
Last May, Khris had achieved a world record by executing the highest jump off the first floor of France’s iconic Eiffel Tower.
Jeremy Dumont, 12, who saw the jump with his parents told the website the sight was spectacular. “It’s magical. It is in the air, it flies over Paris,” he said. The boy’s mother, Pascaline Dumont added: “It looks like a bird [flying] over Paris. It’s impressive”.

It has become quite a common habit in the fashion world to see established brands working in collaboration with renowned artists in order to come up with something fresh and new, adding some extra flavor to the usual clothes. Well, rollerblading is no exception really, and this time French brand Arcena worked together with Montpellier’s local, JFC activist, graffiti artist and ESA organizer Salamech to bring you a special tee-shirt for the event.

Razors is proud to release the first pro skate of one of our most popular riders on the team: Stefan ‘Horn’ Horngacher. His first pro skate is also the world premiere for Ground Control’s Formula 1 XS frame.
Highlight of the frame is a wider split which provides significantly more grinding area even with a 4 wheels flat set up. Also, the axle bolts are deeper recessed and the H-block area is thicker giving the frame even more strength and durability. The maximum wheel size is 60 mm (outside) or 56 mm if riding 4 wheels flat.
The baseless boot design provides a super close contact to the ground and is much more responsive than traditional skates. The replaceable backslide plate is perfectly grooved and aligned with the groove of the frame.
The Horn skate comes with a new Razors liner with oversized padding and articulated ankle shape which looks your heel in like a vice. It also features Horns signature wheels and ABEC 7 bearings.
Features
- White SL boot with black cuff and gold accents
- New GC F1 XS frame
- High density boot material for long lasting support
- Baseless boot design for responsiveness and perfect control
- Replaceable, pre-grooved backslide plate
- Razors Horn liner
- Horn 56 mm/90A wheels

It also comes with the smaller axle bolt heads of the FLT2 frames resulting in increased material around the axels for even more durability. The frame will premiere on GC Pro Rider, Stefan Horngacher’s Pro Skate.
Features
- Extra wide split
- Deeper recessed axle bolts
- Super thick center groove
- Additional material around axles
- Maximum wheel size outside 60 mm
