RIP Jan Fehlmann. “We woke up to the heartbreaking news that Jan Fehlmann has passed away. Jan was one of our team riders as well as a beloved part of the skating community ; passionate, supportive, and always stoked to roll.
After facing some injuries recently, he poured that same passion into biking. We’re thinking of his friends and family during this difficult time. […] Rest in peace, Jan. You’ll be deeply missed”. - Cougar Skates (Post on Instagram).

Cougar Skates Company officially welcome Julien Cudot as the first member of the team. Since 1995, Cougar Skates has been at the forefront of the skate manufacturing industry, primarily producing for other brands.
This year, we’ve taken an exciting step forward, teaming up with top designers and skaters to create a new and exciting range of skates. Our focus is on the New Generation of skaters, and we aim to inspire more people to experience the joy of skating. We believe with the right team this is possible so we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Julien on our side.
Originating from Paris, France, Julien Cudot has been skating for over two decades. Turning pro at just 13 years old after winning the Amateur World Championship in Dallas, Texas, at the renowned, Arlo Eisenberg Skatepark, Julien’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Since then, Julien ventured into street skating, winning many of the top park competitions and competing against the best skaters of all time. Despite facing ups and downs, he has persisted, continually striving to achieve personal goals and dreams while pushing boundaries day by day.
We believe that Julien is the perfect fit for our brand. Not only is he an amazing skater, but he also embodies the right attitude and persistence to inspire and motivate others. We are looking forward to this new chapter with Julien and hope that together we can make a positive impact on the skating scene.
