Well I’m 17 right now and I live in a small town called Barnsley in Yorkshire, England. I hate living here though, thats why I never stay. I am always travelling, I love seeing different countries and meeting different people. I study English, Law and French at a college in Huddersfield and then at the weekends I go off rollerblading somewhere with my friends.

I love to skate, I have been doing it now for sooo long, its pretty much been my life, I dont think I could ever quit. Just the places I’ve been and the people I’ve met have been amazing! Hopefully after college I’m going to do French law at LIVERPOOL Uni :-D but before then I want to travel to as many places as I can and hopefully live out in California when I get the chance.

Jenna is from South Yorkshire but spends a great deal of her time traveling the world competing in the ASA Pro Tour and in Championships, though she did make it home to compete in the LG Action Sports World Championships hosted outside of the USA for the first time this year, in Manchester.

Sponsored by K2, Jenna has had a great year, including media exposure on TV and in the media. (She even took the idea of media exposure to the extreme this year with a Sun newspaper feature entitled “Get Your Skates On” comprising photographs of her modelling swimwear alongside other top female inline skaters Fabiola De Silva and Martina Svobodova!)

Jenna Downing is just one of a host of beautiful women displaying her inline skating skills in Manchester later this month.

The South Yorkshire lovely will take part in the LG Action Sports World Championships from October 21-23 at the MEN Arena.

She will be joined by over 300 of the best professional and amateur skateboarders, BMX riders and inline skaters from around the globe.
