For Women, It’s Nearly Ex Games
Monday, August 28th, 2006
Quoting Peter Yoon, Los Angeles Times :
Fabiola da Silva is the leading female medal-winner in X Games history, a seven-time in-line skating gold medalist, but she won’t even be in California when the games are contested today through Sunday at Staples Center and the Home Depot Center.
Dallas Friday won her fourth gold medal in wakeboarding last year, then talked about catching BMX rider Dave Mirra, who leads all X Games contestants with 14 gold medals.
But Friday’s dream will remain in dry dock because wakeboarding was eliminated from the X Games lineup this year for budgetary concerns — it has cost more than $500,000 to stage the event in the Long Beach Marine Stadium.
And women’s in-line skating was dropped two years ago after organizers said the sport was no longer popular enough to be included.

Thursday, July 6th, 2006
Shooting Starz Productions with Producer Rob Hawk are currently working on a film entitled “Voosha Day”. Fallon is playing the role of Alexis in this action-packed movie. You’ll find her acting and possibly skating throughout the film.
The celebrity cast is phenomenal. Acting alongside Fallon in “Voosha Day” will be celebrities such as Jeff Timmons from 98 degrees, Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block, and several other huge names that will be announcing their participation in the film soon as well! Check out Voosha Day’s Web-Site periodically for release dates and info.
Fallon Heffernan recently began modeling and acting. Her status as a professional in-line skater opened up the opportunities in the entertainment industry for her. In August of 2005, she was requested for a photo shoot by a free-lance photographer named Chris Mitchell. Her photos will be used to glamorize the ladies in the sport of stunt rollerblading.
Since then, she has posed for other photographers, including Jeff Linett with 838 Studios of Hollywood. (source)
