  4. Dude.. Says:

The kid is only 16 and he’s been killing it for years. Why should he take his helmet off? It’s smart on his own end.

Stop worrying about his attire, start paying attention to the skating.

    Dear Rollernews,

Most of your users are pathetic douche bags.

This edit deserves to be here.

    Sincerely,
Some guy who is not a pathetic douche bag (At least not to their degree)

acid top acid 540 off , solid

  13. heman Says:

i like it! very solid! but the song is overused!!

  14. Youre All Posers /\ Says:

Wake that was sick! One of your best street edits, dont listen to these posers here.

The fact that this lame blog is still around blows my mind. It has the worst content (some stolen), built on the simplest blog template you can find for free, with the most disrespectful users Ive ever seen on a forum. Information is gathered by Facebook and Twitter stalking and rumors.

shit song. pretty damn good at gaps ! its good hes wearing a helmet, if hes doing gaps like that !

  16. Davide Sizemo Says:

Seriously, there are over 75 billion songs in the world to choose from. Have some originality.

Skating decent but needs some style.

  17. Anonymous Says:

Wake should stick to parkskating, the street’s ain’t his game !

  18. Oscar Zabala Says:

Great skatin Wake! A lot of control at some high speed tricks. Lovin the acid soul to acid top 540 out on that blue rail, killer. Keep doin your thing and your mind centered in your goals. DON’T PAY ATTENTION TO THE BUNCH OF SHIT EATERS THAT POLLUTE OUR SPORT THESE DAYS… GO SKATEBOARDING YOU ALL LAME FAGS

  19. Anonymous Says:

Hi. I don’t mind the helmet. I thought the edit was average.

  20. Anonymous Says:

Props to Wake for not giving a f*** what any of you think and wearing his helmet anyway, unlike the rest of you pu$$ies who don’t wear a helmet just because you think it makes you cool not to.

The difference between you and Wake is that he’s confident enough in himself and his skills that he knows he can rock a helmet and still be a boss!

After ~15 years of skating I still don’t understand why wearing a helmet isn’t more popular? Is brain damage cool or something?

  21. Anonymous Says:

Great skating, Wake! I’ve been following you for a few years now, and you are really coming into your skating! It’s great to see the evolution, and you are steadily growing into your own style.

After skating for the last 16 years, and hitting age 30, I started skating with a helmet. A friend of mine took a hard spill on a 15set landing fakie. He hit the back of his head so hard that he literally bounced end over end forward onto his face. He cracked his helmet in two, and the doctor said (after he woke up from his concussion) that he’d be dead or brain dead if it wasn’t for the helmet. He was out for 3 months. It made me rethink some things.

I don’t mind the helmet at all, even after 16 years of not having it. I’m getting old, though, now, and it’s time to start acting more intelligent. I’m happy Wake is wearing the helmet – when I saw my dude hit the ground, I thought he was dead. Don’t let anyone talk you down from being smart, Wake!

If you don’t want to wear a helmet, don’t. I don’t see what the big deal is. If you don’t want skinny jeans, don’t put em on. Skate how you want. What matters is we are all rolling.

serieux il pue ce mec , il va trop vite prendre le grosse tete alors qu’il n’a rien de bien pour son age

seriously it stinks this guy, he’s going too fast to take the big head when he was no good for her age

Park rat + shitty Denial wheels. If this kid lived in France he’d be average and you’d be calling him a French douchebag park skater with shitty style.

    1+++
Thats true, In America are realy better young stakers thnat this :D IN EUROPE IS MORE HARDER TO GET SPOSORED

  29. Anonymous Says:

Wow he’s 16? I thought he was 12. For 16 he blows. This kid is a park comp skater like the Frenchy’s. The next romain Goudenaire.

  30. Anonymous Says:

This kid got sponsored because he won this years Bitter Cold Showdown. It’s a good incentive for the future competitors out there. But, in my opinion, even on park turf this kid isn’t that stylish. He’s a decent trick vocabulary though, and hopefully with time his style will clean up.

  31. Anonymous Says:

    People on Rollernews suck.

  32. Anonymous Says:

    “Wow he’s 16? I thought he was 12. For 16 he blows.”

lol he’s 16, that leaves about 20 more years for him to improve. Highly doubt he’s peaked yet or even come close to it.

  33. Magister Ludi Says:

Axel, my thought exactly. I’m glad to see this kid doing a street edit. I believe he will inspire a lot of the youth to want to blade.

  34. Anonymous Says:

    get yourself some Eulogy bud

  35. Shane C Says:

he looks so uncomfortable skating street its painful to watch. some kids are just meant to skate park I guess. thats a big ass helmet.

  36. Anonymous Says:

    Lil randy spizer haha

  37. Anonymous Says:

    @shane C your a idiot

  38. Cake Scheepmom Says:

my only complaint is this song was used way before way better with better skating in a better edit.

  39. Shane C Says:

I’m not an idiot I’ve seen him skate park and he doesn’t look good at all skating street. It even says street edit in the title cuz everyone knows he’s a park rat. He has a limited trick vocab in street and he’s wearin a big ass helmet. He may look like randy spizer but he sure don’t skate like him.

  40. Eulogy ftw Says:

can anyone have style skating Denial wheels????

  41. Anonymous Says:

He has a megaramp in his back yard. Stick to Woodward skating. You don’t see Eito skating street.

  42. Anonymous Says:

He may look like randy spizer but he sure don’t skate like him.

thank you. helmets ftl! maybe if he gets another mega ramp he will go am.

  43. Anonymous Says:

I don’t care to hate on this kid, but it’s honestly offensive to see people acclaiming such a mediocre street skater. Almost everyone I skate with is more stylish and quite a bit better. It’s cool if he is good at ramps but please please don’t defend his shitty street skating as if it is something special and people don’t get it or are just haters. It makes people want to hate more.

To the kid, I think it is awesome to see anyone skating and putting out edits. Good luck in improving your skating. Watch some (good) street edits and have fun.

  44. zook Says:

you would never believe the power of denial.rollerbladers are different and unique.and better than everyone else mindgame.

  45. Anonymous Says:

he skates fast which is awesome. He’s still refining his style, but I think he’s probably going to be great in a few more years. His height may be an impediment though. The best guys are all shorties.

  46. Tubman Says:

this is substandard for Denial but Denial died years ago wheels were always a piece of shit.

  47. Anonymous Says:

there is no money in street skating he should enter park comps

  48. wanker schepman Says:

    Wank Schepman is a cunt….

  49. hahaha LOL Says:

You need to work on your style

You havnt got anythin on Olivia Palmaro

  50. ouch. Says:

I’m sorry, but that was weak as fuck. Aside from a pretty decent forward 360 gap, that was not explosive. Literally all warm up tricks. Style was very stiff. I know why he is sponsored, because he is SUPER good at park, but he needs to translate that skill over to the streets before he puts out another weak ass street section like this.

  51. Anonymous Says:

hes a woodward skater. skatin street is like startin all over again – beginner street edit.

  52. Anonymous Says:

Haha a lot of angry wannabes

  53. jim roberTZ Says:

  54. Anonymous Says:

Haha jim you sound bitter. Why don’t you have the balls to say it to him face to face. Lets see your first street edit? Would love to see your skills.
