Wake that was sick! One of your best street edits, dont listen to these posers here.
The fact that this lame blog is still around blows my mind. It has the worst content (some stolen), built on the simplest blog template you can find for free, with the most disrespectful users Ive ever seen on a forum. Information is gathered by Facebook and Twitter stalking and rumors.
Great skatin Wake! A lot of control at some high speed tricks. Lovin the acid soul to acid top 540 out on that blue rail, killer. Keep doin your thing and your mind centered in your goals. DON’T PAY ATTENTION TO THE BUNCH OF SHIT EATERS THAT POLLUTE OUR SPORT THESE DAYS… GO SKATEBOARDING YOU ALL LAME FAGS
Great skating, Wake! I’ve been following you for a few years now, and you are really coming into your skating! It’s great to see the evolution, and you are steadily growing into your own style.
After skating for the last 16 years, and hitting age 30, I started skating with a helmet. A friend of mine took a hard spill on a 15set landing fakie. He hit the back of his head so hard that he literally bounced end over end forward onto his face. He cracked his helmet in two, and the doctor said (after he woke up from his concussion) that he’d be dead or brain dead if it wasn’t for the helmet. He was out for 3 months. It made me rethink some things.
I don’t mind the helmet at all, even after 16 years of not having it. I’m getting old, though, now, and it’s time to start acting more intelligent. I’m happy Wake is wearing the helmet – when I saw my dude hit the ground, I thought he was dead. Don’t let anyone talk you down from being smart, Wake!
If you don’t want to wear a helmet, don’t. I don’t see what the big deal is. If you don’t want skinny jeans, don’t put em on. Skate how you want. What matters is we are all rolling.
This kid got sponsored because he won this years Bitter Cold Showdown. It’s a good incentive for the future competitors out there. But, in my opinion, even on park turf this kid isn’t that stylish. He’s a decent trick vocabulary though, and hopefully with time his style will clean up.
I’m not an idiot I’ve seen him skate park and he doesn’t look good at all skating street. It even says street edit in the title cuz everyone knows he’s a park rat. He has a limited trick vocab in street and he’s wearin a big ass helmet. He may look like randy spizer but he sure don’t skate like him.
I don’t care to hate on this kid, but it’s honestly offensive to see people acclaiming such a mediocre street skater. Almost everyone I skate with is more stylish and quite a bit better. It’s cool if he is good at ramps but please please don’t defend his shitty street skating as if it is something special and people don’t get it or are just haters. It makes people want to hate more.
To the kid, I think it is awesome to see anyone skating and putting out edits. Good luck in improving your skating. Watch some (good) street edits and have fun.
I’m sorry, but that was weak as fuck. Aside from a pretty decent forward 360 gap, that was not explosive. Literally all warm up tricks. Style was very stiff. I know why he is sponsored, because he is SUPER good at park, but he needs to translate that skill over to the streets before he puts out another weak ass street section like this.
