wow you are clearly not an OG if you were you would know that Hyser is the man! And all of us real OGs are always interested in seeing what he is up to. I have been enjoying Hyser’s skating since the 3rd issue of Box magazine back in ’94. not to mention the countless contributions he has made to our industry. you should show some respect!

hysers the man. he has done so many things for rollerblading in general and everyone should respect him bc he has really helped shape our sport into wat it is today. so what if he calls some trix different names. all of you inconsiderate newbs should learn a thing or two about our history and learn your fucking place.

Hysie STILL flossing with supreme stylee. Most of you don’t know, but Tom is pretty much the only light shining the way to blading when you think your “too old” to do it anymore and are having OMI aka old man insecurities. Rollerblading is still so young and new because there is no one from the generation I looked up to that is still in it to show us what we should and shouldn’t do to progress. If there is no one to learn from then we continue to keep making the same mistakes they all did when they were young, sponsored, and “pro.”

I’d much rather rather see what Richie Velasquez looks like skating them. . . too bad Tom wont send him a pair. It must really suck to be a pro rollerblader riding for RB that Tom doesn’t like.
@ Controlled Accidents (Rob G?) I’m going to have to disagree with your “the only light shining the way to blading when you think your “too old†to do it anymore” comment. At 32 years old Richie most certainly still kills it, many levels above Tom.
It’s so very very unfortunate that Tom Hyser so obviously plays favorites. He’s so obviously trying to turn RB into the Hyser/RobG/Julian show. I don’t know what he has against Richie, but I’m sad to say I wont at all be surprised when I hear months from now that Richie is off RB. Mark my words.

i think the tricks were named like that on purpose and tom skated kinda like in old days. i think he just wanted it all look like “back in the days” video….you know..nowadays when everyone spins 10487 to grinds :) and makes ridiculous 7 switch ups on 3 metres long rail.

Nice, Tom… I am glad to see him out skating and testing skates. I’m sure he could really care less about the negative comments. I am sure he would see it as a sign of immaturity… I do. Once you hit the age of Tom or myself (33 soon to be 34) you will see how well you skate. It isn’t as easy as it was when I was a teenager or mid 20′s. I will leave it at that and just let you find out for yourself. Until then, have fun skating… Respect the old school skaters because you will be one yourself – Wouldn’t you want to be respected? I started skating in 1991 – Like I have said before…. Rollerblading is the best damn thing in the world!

thats what these tricks were called back before you even new what rollerblades were. its obviously an ‘old school’ edit by these names and the filter on the camera.
basically, the reason why your sat on your computer sprouting allsorts of nonscence about what grinds should be called is because your too retarted to realise that skaters like tom, arlo and co made the sport you loved, were actually the pioneers of it.
so quite trying to be smug when your actually just showing your lack of knowledge for your own sport!
