The Fifth Annual Windy City Riot
The fifth annual Windy City Riot (WCR) will take place on Saturday June 24th and Sunday June 25th in Chicago, IL. Due to growing concern that the contestants become too exausted to skate in the finals over the course of the day, the finals will be held on Sunday.
The purse should be between $1,500 and $2,500. Something that makes the WCR unique is that there will be cash awarded on the spot to contestants who land difficult tricks. Due to this, the costs of entry will be $20 (Basically all you have to do to get your enterence fee back is land one good trick). The Chicago skate community has been busy organizing benefits and fund raisers over the past few months for this purse, so we hope this money is put to use! Read more here
