Barcelona: Homies Spring Sessions (2015)

The next episode of the Homies blading in Barcelona. Same idea as last time, a camera and a lens, no toys, except one day we had a gimbal.

As the serious filming is already taken care of by the rest of the crew I can experiment and I like to take an approach where architecture or the spot is as important as the trick that is done on it.

On the other hand I have to try and make the other filmers disappear, which is especially hard if they are on the fish. Not to ruin any of their footy, I won’t get any fisheye shots, maybe next time.

No clips of me this time (haha) I was too lazy to set up the camera in somebody else’s hand to film my sub par tricks. If you want to be in the summer episode just say Hi. – Mathias von Gostomski.

Music: Phon.o – Yudasi, Phon.o – Black Boulder, Hiatus – A silver exit.

Barcelona: Homies Winter Sessions (2015)

Over Christmas somebody broke into my flat and stole all my video-toys, so this one is filmed all handheld, no diddies, just the camera and a Canon 17-55mm IS lens on Sonys A7s.

Filmed in January and February in freezing cold Barcelona, mostly below 0°C (32°F). Thanks to all the homies who still came out to make an appearance.Mathias von Gostomski.

Mathias von Gostomski: All the edits I didn’t make

Thursday, July 11th, 2013

I filmed for quite a few edits in the past year, but never got around to make a single one of them, mostly due to lack of time. So I gave the footage away, some of you may know how persistent people can be about receiving their clips.

Mathias von Gostomski: All the edits I didn't make

I still wanted to do something with the footage in the end, so here it is, my 2012 mini blade flick. Some of the stuff in here has been in edits all year around, except for the Portugal footage. Thanks to everyone for the fun times.Mathias von Gostomski.

Skaters in order of appearance: Dustin Werbeski, Richie Eisler, Nick Lomax, Dominik Wagner, Martim Gepeto. Filmed in Montpellier, Barcelona & Lisbon.

Ben Harmanus: Barcelona Edit by Mathias von Gostomski

Whilst staying in Barcelona for January for my Winter escape (which worked out really well btw.) Ben Harmanus visited twice, once with his girlfriend and once on his own.

During his first stay we didn’t really get to film anything, but when he visited for the second time, he got shit done.

He was really motivated and destroyed every spot we went to. He always came up with tricks nobody else would. And he is 33.

Ben Harmanus got himself a new Pro Skate from Adapt Brand. Thank you Benni.

One day I was too hungover to attend the session but thankfully Marc Moreno covered for me and filmed some more sick clips, thanks Marc. – Mathias von Gostomski.
