In this Episode of Josh Glowicki & Fritz Peitzner Invade Europe we were on the move from Russia back into France… Our second home!

Goodbye Vodka and Hash, hello Fromage and Vin!! We were invited to attend the NL contest in Strasbourg but arrived only in time to party.

From Strasbourg we hitched a ride with Dre Powell, Brian Aragon and Stefan Horngacher to Lyon (France), we were spent about 1 week living and filming for Ground Control Video and the Razors AM video.

Lyon is awesome. Loved that city. From Lyon we drove down Montpellier for the Fise. The rain this year really sucked but we made the most of it.

The footage at the end of the edit is of the Arcena FISE street battle that happened, during the rain! The french bladers are the dopest! Mad respect to Remy, Pottier, Allan and everyone else who shredded the comp in the rain!

Despite the shitty weather and wet spot, the Foch Invitational was quite an incredible event!

As Remy previously stated, very few actually skated, while many others watched, but the SSM crew sure brought the heat! Victor Legrand, Louis Vilar & Remy Meister put on quite a show for the crowd in attendance, both Victor & Remy got hurt in the process, but the result sure was amazing to watch, and now here’s your chance to catch a glimpse of it, too! Growing up skating in Lyon (France) can be hard, sometimes. I mean, you have to be tough to survive the “School of Foch”, and the harsh comments of masters like Nicolas Bellini or Thomas Pfluger.

It can be really good, too, because it’s a school that taught you that it’s not about the tricks you land, but the way you do them. And also, that even if you are Andrew Reynolds or Miss France, you’re still not good enough to mess with these guys.

Quentin Mandron and Louis Villard survived. Lessons are sometimes learned the hard way. Approaching every obstacle with speed and landing every trick with steeze, the streets of Lyon do now belong to these guys. Quentin even earned himself a spot on the French Razors team, and also skates for Ground Control and 4X4 Wheels. I guess today’s lesson is: don’t mess with Lyon, don’t mess with those guys, and enjoy the edit made for you by Samuel “Bodchoy” Courdent !
