We went great lengths on the final day of our NYC trip to shoot, print, make, and execute this wheatpaste advertisement.

Corner store was closed, the Kinkos was 14 CITY blocks away, location one was aborted, and we were all too blacked out to execute.

Billy disappeared and I had no idea who the lookout was. All in all, fucking awesome! Check out the how to, and the night of ruckus below!

This is a quick over view, via iphone video, of how we made the wheatpaste, shot the ad, and what the printouts look like.

Behind the scenes of a drunken last night with Billy in Manhattan. We had gone out to Continental for shots and then karaokeeeeeee until 4am. Too done to make things straight, sloppy execution on the cop watch, but 9 minutes and we were done. NOT how you should do it. *Don’t do this at home… :-)

“I chose a white skate because white skates look good and clean and the UFS Thrones skates are the best for me.

The new heel plate gives the skates a bit less weight but the main thing for me is the much slimmer look.

The frames are Create Originals and its the first time our frame is being featured on a pro skate. The “I fish NY” logo is a tribute to the city I grew up in.

We tried to get Street Artist wheels on them, but due to problems with the wheel manufacturer, we were unable to do so this time around because they couldn’t arrive in time.

All in all, its a top notch skate that slides perfect on everything and skates tough. Buy em!”

Ok Billy, 1st off thanks for taking time off to do this interview for us. Lets begin. When I interviewed Murda, I mentioned to him that I still have the Daily Bread with the article on NYC, that featured interviews for lots of up and comers like yourself, Murda, Franco, etc…

A few years later you landed yourself a job in one of the badest crew ever: Shane Coburn’s MINDGAME team. Can you tell us a little bit about that experience with Mindgame?

Billy: Skating for Mindgame is one of my more proud moments in my skating “career”. Shane first noticed my skating after he watched a Nature Skate Video film called “Maintain”. He asked me if i wanted to skate on the AM team for Mindgame. I respectfully declined, because i was already a pro on salary at Eulogy.

A short while after the Razor video “Ego” came out, he contacted me again and asked if i wanted to skate for Mindgame pro, which i accepted. It was cool to be a part of that legacy, even though i was at the end of it. Mindgame represented our culture in a very elite way…all in all, it was a great honor for me to be a part of creating something that set a standard in our community… R.I.P.Mindgame [...]
