  7. ian atkinson Says:

has no one ever noticed how good OG’s are at backslides? hold them forever, ridiculous

  8. ian atkinson Says:

    15:20-15:40…really?

  9. Tom Endo Says:

Anybody notice how every trick TJ Weber does in this video is pretty much awesome looking even today? I would love for someone to upload the 95′ or 96′ Seal Beach Classic that he won. I think in that competition he does this late 180 over a huge box that pretty much changed my life.

Other life changing OG moments: When Paul Soldano in VG 5 unleashed the first torque I ever saw.

  10. Prolix Says:

Haha, I have this on VHS. It’s so good!

  11. joe dobson Says:

hah, dre bought this one, how you think we learned how to skate?!?!

  12. bacon Says:

I would love to see more old school videos by rollernews! Im sure no one is profiting off of these videos anymore and it would be a good testament to all the OG bladers and a good lesson in history to the kids.

  13. jimbo Says:

  14. Tommy Says:

it’s amazing how much people sucked back then.

  15. Justin Bailey Says:

This brings back so many memories.

  16. flowskate Says:

    tommy your an idiot
id love to see you skate on old school skates.

youd be sketching out all over the place, splitting rails and crying about needing more soul space.
sitting there saying there shit when there the very foundation that has inspired what you do.
    dick.

  17. rollerblading is gay Says:

haha. tommy’s reply made me laugh. i guarantee he couldnt do that shit with those skates we used to use. soul space was pretty much no existent and gettin down to the boot on royales was crazy hard

  18. Chrisedmo Says:

Wow this brings back memories!! I really wanted one of those “your wheels suck tee..” This was back when i had to order most things from america.. Team Paradise.

TJ Webber was a legend, he knew how important style was.

Also i remember being able to backslide like that, i think as this was the day before royale plates, we used to do them right on the boot, which was never meant for grinding, so it was a bit softer, you could really hold them out.

I wish i still had my Tarmacs. Man i don’t miss the lack of soul space though.. hah.

  19. rolling-god Says:

thew backslides are sicker than the most backslides you can see today, if you think about those damn shitty skates.
and that high frontflip was the shhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaatttt!! so crazy

  20. 4114N Says:

This shit make my day… so many memories… thank’s for this…
and…someone note the PANTS!!?!? hahaahah i used that! hahhahah

  21. pom Says:

  22. carlos Says:

i love this, please put more vids. WHERE IS VG 3?!?!?! and that video with armand marchand in it, and a jamiroquai song… shit i dont remember..

  23. Wrekshop Ryan Says:

backslides and royales looked so much better back in the day.

  24. rollerblading is gay Says:

carlos yer thinking of another vg. dont remember the number but it wasnt 3. 3 was jon julio. i think youre thinking of 7….maybe

  25. pom Says:

    “wrekshop ryan”

backslides and royales were better back in the day coz the skates allowed us to bone over further(k2 fatties still do)..

  26. jon ortiz Says:
