Seba CJ Wellsmore spotted @ NYC Invitational 2012
One Mag posted a report of the NYC Street Invitational 2012, including an interesting pic of the Seba CJ Wellsmore skates.

- Previously: Cj Wellsmore, Seba Pro Skates.
- NYC Invitational 2012 More Media: IRollNY + One Mag Edits.
A photoshopped picture surfaced and it suprisingly looks really close to the Seba CJ Wellsmore. The picture is a montage of a Seba GTX 80 and a SSM Marc Moreno Skate. Thanks Genius, Kamil & Anon.

What’s up with the raincoat toe caps? Otherwise, they look alright.
September 26th, 2012 at 7:16 am
Rollerblade X Usd carbons X SSM, every skates are the same today…
September 26th, 2012 at 7:17 am
They have tape all over them dude to hide parts of them!
September 26th, 2012 at 7:19 am
WTF ARE DEY SERIOS WIT DAT TAPE. DAT LOOKS SO WACK
September 26th, 2012 at 7:54 am
Cj i really do hope you read this… i want to like your skate but i find myself disliking that picture so bad! MOST VILE SKATE I HAVE EVER SEEN.
hopefully the finished product will be much better
September 26th, 2012 at 8:02 am
the tape is there to hide / disguise the skate so that it will be a surprise when they finish testing it and it is finally launched!! give the man / company a chance!
September 26th, 2012 at 8:16 am
Seriously? There are people actually sitting in front of their computer screen thinking that the tape over that skate is ACTUALLY the design?
You absolute fucktards. Does your carer know you are on the computer by yourself?
Literally the most moronic bunch of clusterfucks I’ve ever witnessed.
September 26th, 2012 at 8:18 am
Have you fools ever seen a pre-production car being tested?
tape is there because they don’t want the prototype being fully seen.
Some people are beyond retarded.
September 26th, 2012 at 8:21 am
Look at the Seba FR-A (A for Agressive) on the seba website.
September 26th, 2012 at 8:22 am
Adding tape to the skate is such a genius move by Seba. Can see why they do it because everyone is bitching about toe protection these days on their skates and now finally someone has done it right. Fuck all the haters this is going to be revolutionary. You can see here they are using the black CJ Wellsmore pro tape.

this isnt the same skate, look at the bottom buckle, the one on the wellsmore pic is soft, the one on the website is made of plastic ; same with the laces, this isn’t the same system at all.

September 26th, 2012 at 10:51 am
This one look sick!… They should fussioned with k2
September 26th, 2012 at 11:05 am
i think the bottom one is shopped because it looks suprisingly like the moreno bottom half….
skates.co.uk/aggressive-skates/ssm-marc-moreno-skates.html
But still, looks cool :)
September 26th, 2012 at 12:20 pm
the bottom pic just looks like a photoshopped seba gtx 80
September 26th, 2012 at 12:24 pm
Feio pra caralho!
Sé loko
September 26th, 2012 at 12:33 pm
looking good for me! And I’m sure CJ won’t come up with a bad skate anyway. Seeba seems to make very good rec and freeskate skates why won’t they be able to make a good aggressive skate aswell. K2 did that back in the 90′s… so let’s see what happens
September 26th, 2012 at 12:52 pm
The bottom pic is definitely a GTX.
Anyway Seba=quality products, so I think some fresh air is coming to the aggressive market.
September 26th, 2012 at 12:59 pm
Whoever put this shopped photo here is a fool. It’s prime example of bad journalism.
I’VE MADE THIS PICTURE USING PHOTOS OF SEBA GTX SKATE AND SSM MORENO SOULS. I PUT THIS ON PB COMMUNITY CLEARLY STATING THIS IS PHOTOSHOP AND IT’S ONLY MY GENERAL IDEA HOW FINISHED SKATE MAY LOOK.
Rollernews, you failed as always.
September 26th, 2012 at 1:13 pm
I’d be quite intrigued about Seeba skates had that bottom pic been real and not a photoshop. I’d like them to make something similar as I think they look good.
September 26th, 2012 at 2:18 pm
Oooff! Are they serious? That’s a lame design! Too busy, weird alignment of parts, stitchings and so on, the plate is not theirs right? Cheap shit buckle, over-designed cuff with funny elements in it, SEBA logo way too big on the strap(…), can’t see any innovations so far, SEBA is desperately trying to look cool and to adapt to aggressive, good luck with that, this is a hard country here!
You need to separate yourself from the image you carry as SEBA the cone-dancing fruity looking freeskate-brand with no history in aggressive rolling, or else this will be very hard for you guys! That’s one of the reasons Powerslide keeps Conference separate from “Powerslide…not buying this attempt.
You have made one good decision however – you have CJ on your side and I can not judge the taped skate above
September 26th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
I’ve checked the web, it is a gtx 80, still if they make aggressive skates that look like this I’ll be the first to say my opinion
September 26th, 2012 at 2:27 pm
@Kamil RN never saying it real picture at your Photoshop picture…! Anyone here knew it Photoshop! So you better chill or you want to be boycott in rollerblading world for been A$$ hole!
September 26th, 2012 at 2:54 pm
I was at the comp….def NOT photoshop edited picture. He and this other french guy had these skates on with the tape to hide the finished product.
September 26th, 2012 at 4:26 pm
looks like a form fitting, light skate, will probably be pretty good. Companies with broad experience in rec skates and skiing have typically produced good, one shell per size, skates. As far as aesthetics go, get rid of the shiny shell (I’m not talking about the taped part), make the SEBA logo smaller, put it somewhere off to the side and you’r done.
September 26th, 2012 at 5:10 pm
seems an USD carbon copycat
September 26th, 2012 at 5:13 pm
K2/Carbon-esque skate.
Will be interesting to see it when it finally comes out.
September 26th, 2012 at 5:28 pm
super pumped to try these in the future:)
September 26th, 2012 at 8:29 pm
lol let the fags talk and let us olderbladers buy
function over form seba keep that in mind
ditch the reg laces throw in some kind of one pull quick tightening lacing system nice big mid strap but that wont last with our skating, try to make the strap internal or something
September 26th, 2012 at 8:30 pm
carbon copy cat ?
no carbons are just a speedskate fashioned with a cuff sold to you at a premium
September 26th, 2012 at 9:11 pm
Haha ‘nope’ you are hilarious…
Seba is trying so hard to be cool?? Yet if so why would they retain there branding..If they were strying so hard to create a false image would they not brand there skates with a different name and style.
NOPE! Seba are a quality company that make sick skates, truly form fitting and high quality.
You just wait..And that photoshop is not what the skate looks like..Trust ;)
+ How ^ would you know what price they will be sold at?
It makes me laugh that people have such negative assumptions when they should be welcoming such a sick brand to aggressive.
Seba put so much back into the diciplines they are part of and the HQ is run by skaters (and skaters of a very high level)
This is only a positive for aggressive skating.
September 26th, 2012 at 9:22 pm
whats there looks nice. the only way i think they can make them better than the carbons is if they have a super low base. id buy em if they had a high cuff and a low base
September 26th, 2012 at 10:06 pm
The other blade is a fake photoshop of a rec skate.
Quit your crying.
September 27th, 2012 at 8:02 am
Flowskate talks the truth.
Look how good Saloman were, although I doubt most of you kids wouldn’t know about that.
Seba will bring much the same to the industry, a high level brand no doubt.
September 27th, 2012 at 9:45 am
if SEBA skates are so bad and ugly why all the conference so scared of?
September 28th, 2012 at 7:43 am
lol it was a genuine question, but thanks for informing me about the prototype method. Oh yeah and my carer says fuck you.
September 29th, 2012 at 7:21 am
i’m really happy to see this brand, finally do something for us !!!
I know this brand from the beginning and this project to make a aggressive skate is not new, from the beginning he works on it and he know well all the aggressive market and “community ” one of the guy in this brand seba, is a street skaters and he work hard apparently.. that’s good for us !
also If CJ join this brand that’s not for nothing .. Cj can got a sponsor from all the brand, every brand in this market wants to introduce CJ , so let me know why he choose seba ??? let me know ! this is my opinion.

Si c’est du Seba qui fait le patin => très bonne qualité
Wellsmore qui en fait les caractéristiques => très bon patin
Donc que du bon
