hi-top sneaker as a liner? that’s a new concept that actually makes sense to me, like it’s functional and it’s unique to rollerblading. liners look thicker too but if i want RB I’ll go with Rob G!
oh god. think they really need a huge clown sized buckle on the side of the skate? at least valo most other skate companies are making skates that look better, it seems rb doesnt even care about how their skates look.
valo makes skates that skate good and look sick as fuck. why cant a company like Rb thats been around for 20+ years do the same? you think they wouldve mastered that by now
Oh Come on dirks were a good looking skate back in the day. The amount of time Rollerblade have been in and out of the sport they should know better. Especially who this company is backed bye money could have been better spent. Lets face it they could make the best skates out there but seemed to have gone cheap and chearfull.
Props for trying to fix the durability problems with the current skate. The new liner is a cool idea. Personally I think the color schemes are ugly. They threw one big and bright bit of color on an otherwise neutral skate? If you take off the souls I like the color scheme.
I agree with the TRS comeback. Rollerblade stop making an ugly skate. The shoe look of the liner would work better as a skate. I’m sure they work great, but come on, these things have to go on our feet. We need them to look half way decent.
The parts look mis matched and sloppily put together, no design in mind what so ever. Who does the designs for these blades for RB? They have no idea what market they are targeting. Last years skates with that lame lime green just screamed our obvious as to someone in the “sports” industrial design game was behind it. These are not any better.
these solo’s are realy good skates if you like a solllid stif boot, and those grind plates are extremely fast.
if that fits you it is a skate that you want.
First off, these are fugly.
Second, there are good stiff boots out already from razors, rems (OS) and others that are already known as good aggressive skates.
I don’t know why anybody is saying these are the skates you want when they don’t look to offer anything a bambrik already offers and is completely customizable.
had the solo eras the buckle was the first to break..i see they fixed that.second is they shitty liners they came with i see they fixed that.last is the souls wore down ina week …hope they fixed that probly not…unless u can get a free pair of these once a month i wouldnt say much to give them credit especially after having such high expectations to begin with………USD
RB oh RB….when are u goning to put your head out of your ass and start doing some stylish skates…..first of….those holes in boot….FUCK….second…. soulplate….goddamnit its 3 times too big and ugly design…..
havent you seen (RB) that your designers suck big time…..so why dont u change that…..
I am sorry, but after what Rollerblade did to Broskow, Morales, and all of the other Pro riders, why would ANYBODY want to skate/ support RB? I know that was in the past, but it showed everyone RB’s true colors. They only care about the MONEY… Not the skater… support a REAL company.
I need a skate more light witch wheels more biggest, let´s take solo tribe le´s as an example but witch 80mm wheels and carbone boots.
Your wheels are low quality. I love rollerblade solo tribe but I hate your wheels when they smash.
Gross, RB, you’re the biggest company, maybe put out an actually aggressive skate. You can’t screw on some extra plastic pieces and expect anyone with a clue to be impressed. I don’t care how well they skate, they should be much much better. If you’re going to make a frankenstein skate at least make the tacked on parts look better. This looks like some monster composed of spare parts out of Tom Hyser’s garage.

if those shoes dont come in another color, they get ruined the first time you skate those things
July 21st, 2010 at 9:02 pm
RB must have found a stash of old Macroblades they could harvest for parts. Look at those side buckles. WTF FML OMFG –>
July 21st, 2010 at 9:12 pm
im sure companies would prob do alot better if they took advice from the forum reviews.

Shit…Love The Liner and Colorful sole plate…, Can’t wait to see close-up of Rob G skates.
July 22nd, 2010 at 2:33 am
The new Rollerblades skate awesome!
I like the new buckle on these, but RB needs to make the soul plates a bit smaller, they look kinda awkward.
i skate em though and i love em
July 22nd, 2010 at 4:28 am
best skates i’ve ever skated in my life, but they are ugly as fuck
July 22nd, 2010 at 8:30 am
I find myself agreeing with Darth ROller yet again.
July 22nd, 2010 at 10:00 am
All they have to do now is have the buckle protector as part of the boot mold. This will make them look less like a rec skate hack job.

If someone told me that these were sold in a supermarket for £30 I’d probably believe them…
These might be the best skates in the universe but I don’t care, bring back TRS Details!
