I love how people think this is Iain’s first pro skate. Dude had a pro skate years ago on Deshi. It’s nice to see that Razors recognized his hard work to this day though.
I like that it’s not the same people getting one pro skate after another these days. Other people need to eat too, and pro products are generally your only income, unless you skate one comp after another, and or work on top of it.

Razors would not give Ian Mcleod the more expensive SL pro skate because…look at his face. He is just not marketable. They would not invest money if they can’t market the skate. The dude kills and is definitely one of the very best rollerbladers in the world and criminally under-rated. I don’t understand how people of such talent can be over-looked, but it’s happened before. Took the rolling world years upon years before they realised just how good Richie Eisler was.
Hope the Silhan has a white shell underneath the skin. Think an all-white non-skinned SL would look lovely.

I think the Gens have a bad rep for being outdated.Yes, it is an old boot,but so is the thrones which were first released around the same time, yet people don’t say too much shit about them even as USD releases new thones again and again.
Both the Gens and the Thrones have gone through changes in soul plate designs over the years, the Gens from the 4 piece soul to the current 1 piece, and the Thrones from the 3 piece soul to the current 2 piece.
USD is a much bigger company and yet they are still pushing old designs. So why all the hate for Razors? Yes, their team may not act mature at times, but that should not affect your opinion on their boots.
Anyways, great to see Iain finally getting another pro skate after so long. I remember rocking his Deshi pro model back then. For those who think he’s washed up, please search for some of this latest edits and you’ll see that still goes as big and as tech from 10 years ago.
