What the hack with Razor. Razor Shima 7 is the same looking like the previous Shima.
Even the liner looks the same.Just different color.

Nearly every picture/clip I’ve seen of Shima skating, he has on Cult style boots. The fact that this is the same boot desing doesn’t matter in this case, the fact that the color scheme is almost the same as the Shima6s is stupid. They’ll sell well though.
I’d rather see Razor put the S6 again instead of this.

ah, well, again and again and again I see people bitching about razors dosent chang their boots, at my opinion they dont need to do that because Genesys/Murda boot skates realy well, Its actually the best skate in the market, or well I havent still fond anything better for my self.
Oh, and I realy like that they stop producing dose skates with ugly soft tops on them, only soft top razors what looked good, was the first, Dre Powell model, so going back to the roots of Genesys/Murda boots is fucking cool…

i have no problem whatsoever with razors releasing this boot, apart from the fact that its only a market campaign
what razors should have done is say produce 10, 000 murda 1s (or genesys 1s or whatever) and stuck with those for a year or two, that would’ve been cheaper to produce and could then have sold the skates cheaper (+ there would still be murda 1s around, the best looking skate EVER) instead of producing 1000 (i dont know, thats a guess) of each model of skate, making them much more expensive

They didnt change, thats why people stopped buying them and they retracted themselves from agressive inline market.
Razors within themselves are good skates. The reason they dont change anything is because people will still buy them. All they have to do is change some colours and put a new number on and it will sell. Why pay researchers etc to design you a new skate when you can sell the same old design?

I really like the looks of this sk8, being an older roller( 36 yrs) Im digging the retro look, And I have been wanting a blacked out/ stealth looking sk8 to go with my new Able Treseder freestyle frames. I am new to rolling, ( use to be a wood pusher back in the 80’s). so for me this skate is brand new, I have never owned a pair of Razors,( I have rollerblade TRS’s). You guys that have been rolling for 10 years or more have to remember, that the sk8 companies are trying to attract new customers as well as keep you vetrens happy, they must do this while keeping cost down( there is not a very large market in rolling, and totally new designs cost HUGE$$$). This sk8 will sell,without a large $ outlay from the sk8 company. This is good business, which is good for rolling and the Razor corp.

For me, I think skate design (in general) has come far enough. The razors skates right now work really well, there is no need to change them as long as people buy them. It costs too much money to design new skates and produce proto types (spelling?). Anyone skate Valo? I’m sure all of us here know that they are nothing more than juiced up OG Roces, I skated Roces M12’s when they first came out, and I ride Valo’s now.

That said, if I was a pro, which’ll never happen, I wouldn’t want 7 pro models that were all the same apart from minor aethetic changes.
Razors probably release so many Shima models because of the impact he has had on rolling and everything but I think pro models should change. i.e. if a pro loves the pro-model they get and think it’s perfect and don’t want it changed EVER, they don’t need another pro model, especially for Razors as changing the cuffs etc. is so easy.
Said this before but they should have more “basic” designs the way USD had the;

to set things strait for evry1, razors are striving for another popular attempt. compare to razors s6: same boot, same bs plate and souls, same liner, worse (in my opinion) frames, and same liner. they hide this with what? colour. any1 can notice this.

All i have to say is that they are sick and if i didnt skate deshi i would buy them i had s6’s but then i got deshi and loved them… the only reason razor doesnt change the boot design is cause it works and its proven that it is a good design i mean damn look at who skates them also another thing is why are people hatin on razor for not changin there design roces brought back a design from like 96 and nobody is hatin on them wtf is up with that shit any one tell me???
