I don´t feel the extra wholes for the laces, but overall it´s not an ugly skate.
but I like the fact that Razors still makes soulframes which allows you to equip your skates with powerstraps. thank you, Razors.

I think I know exactly what they are doing.
Somone said “OG” in a post about the Shimas.,and “Full circle” was also mentioned.
This could very well be a retrospective to themselves - in preperation for their new skates.

again i am going to have to say, who cares what name is on the skates. Jon Elliot has put more of his time and money into skateing than any of you anyways. maybe its called the “Elliot 3″ because he help Razors build their company since 1997. I would rock those skates anyday. i fully support Razor Brand skates, and ANY company that is part of the Sport.

The shima 7s should be cult style like this accept some crazy color like orange or green. That’s more realistic to what shima would skate, but shima’s just trying to make $ off his skates, not like what he would really skate.

To the guy who said holes in the soulframe…. all classic razors have that holes and yes are made first for less friction and to fill them with wax during grinds, then i cant understand why everybody talk shit about razors, i’m pretty sure a good amount of people have tried at least this kind of boots and the think is they work, why should a company put a lot of money into a new mold when they previous ones work perfectly, then I’m pretty sure that this skate shouldn’t be named Elliott 3 … Elliott skates Remz (check 4×4 Leading the Blind) this should be Shima 7 , after all Shima is the only one in the Razors Team who skates the classic boots, and Elliott is no part of the team anymore… but who knows maybe he is still involved in razors in someway…

man most of you uys are ridiculousy underknowedged and fukin retarded…. i mean shit always asking for new boot moulds and innovations, maybe if you worried more about what all u sketchy kids did when u had skates on your feet opposed to the skates new techniloical advancements, you guys might jus advance a little yourselves, i mean do u think we are some billion dollar industry that can jus keep producing like $300 000 boot moulds, jus to be technilogically advanced, i mean look at usd and the legacy, where asi think like they had it right with the 99 throne, spend that money lookin after and marketing the team and sport, for e.g…. and as for whoever said razors are money hungary, is stoooopid, they are in end a business and one that have stayed on top of the game for some years now, continuously bringing fresh rolls… these elliot 3’s will be sooo ill cos they skate soooo good(anyone knows the feeling of torques whose rolled an old razors boot) and i think(my opinion) look bad ass!!!! its like skateboarding mass produce more or less the same piece of wood, varyin in material, weight and shape,, the real selling point is the visual aesthetic, funnilyt enough bellow the deck, that like our skates get scraped up, thrashed and ruined… hmm heres a thought lets get dif colour scheme skates, maybe graphic artists(cos i knw every second roller out there claims to be one) to make skates look rad (to differing peoples taste) and use that money to promote the deserved people and promote rollin to the masses….

dog those aren’t E, 3’s those are the original elliotts with a dual cast GC and a new liner. I had those skates about 7 years ago.

For all of you who may not be old enough to remember. Those are the Elliot 2’s. The original Elliot’s didn’t have the dual lacing, their main innovation was their UFS compatible frame and backslide plate with the groove placed farther up. The Elliot 3’s are an exact clone of the Elliot 2’s from what I can see. Maybe a few less speed dimples.

The holes in the soulplates is to reduce friction when grinding… Elliot is more of a random street skater…therefore less wax is required.

ive never really skated razors. but usd always stuck to one boot design for a long while. and im not sure about you guys but look at xsjados. the farmer skates were slightly changed structually but they looked the same with different colourways.

K how about this. Just skate you stupid fucks. Stop bitching about the skates. If you dont like them, don’t buy them. If you do like them, get them. Pretty much no one is going to listen to you about it anyway. All it is going to do is have people argue about it. I have this pair of skates. I love them. Thats my opinion. I don’t trash on your skates. Don’t on mine. Simply put it as. I prefere different. Is that so hard.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I’m looking for a pair of aggressive skates - shopping around. Think I’m going to settle on the Razors Elliot 3’s. Good price and they look like a nice boot. I’m 48 so I don’t care too much about how cute I look on ‘em. Main things for me are comfort and control (that’s what happens when you reach 48).
Right now I have a pair of Roces, which I love, but they’re really for speed, not for aggressive skating - althoug I still use ‘em that way. I’ve been using them at the local skate park and realize I really need an aggressive skate. I’ll be 49 on Sept. 2nd and now I’ve read your blog I’m going to be at the skate park in my new Razor 3’s!
