that was interesting and eulogy is still the #1 on the market.
great to see that at least one company till produces wheels on their own and does not only publish their name on some finished chinese product.
shining example eh? i woldn’t go that far. they are poured by Powell http://www.powellskateboards.com as in (Bones Wheels, Powell Skateboards, and Eulogy(inline).
This is a skateboard company ……. end of….
I will admit that wheels were very good… but the latest wheels are no where near the standard of the previous pours.
skateboard company blah blah blah, I have enough of supporting other wheels brands who for 10 years haven`t figured out how to make a wheel that lasts more than a month. end of story. Eulogy all the way!
so what if its poured by a powell company? wheels are ultimately wheels and should be judged upon by its performance. and if that really is the case then its a shame for us to be pushin out wheels like the new uc that pores.
This was a really fun project to shoot. It was shot over the course of two days. for thse of you who care..it was shot on hxv 200,with the use of a 36 inch indie slider.
I was blown away to see everything first hand..and some things we couldnt show you(top secret stuff) I think the wheel printing, and the shaving were my favorite spots on the tour.
everyone involved in the wheel making process was super cool..Its amazing that they are poured in the usa, and that so much of it is done by “hand”. That quality is hard to come by.
you guys gotta get over the skateboard thing..do you think other wheel brands out own there wheel pouring facilities. Nope!! they get poured in china, with 90% of all the other wheels out there..and dont think for a second, that those companies dont pour skateboarding wheels or wheels for luggage and scooters… cause they do!!
The bottom line is this..Eulogy wheels are the best, and this is how they make them..
.
Hahaha just so you all know, the “nipple” machine is called a pad printing machine. Using them in real life is even better than just watching them in action.
i didnt think i could love eulogys more than i already do, but this vid made it possible, wierd huh? the shaving part looked like magic and shit to me.
what do they do with the shavings? melt them again to save urethane?
Bullshit, they are inconsistant as someone pointed out. Fuck skateboarders and the greedy old fag that makes eulogy, and Juan, you kiss ass, there are no secrets in it, big fuckin deal they cook for 11 minutes, and “not a minute more” the shits all over the web for everyone.

I JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHAT URETHAN IS, AND WIKI TOLD ME
Urethan schädigt die Blutbildungsorgane, Leber und das Zentrale Nervensystem. Bei chronischer Belastung kann Urethan Krebs auslösen.
