Kinda don’t know what to say to that edit. Great to see Omar back on blades again after the years of vanishing, but very repetitive, same flip here, neg fish on wall rail here, with a few sleepers thrown in there (like the zero sit fish). Idk. The slowmo and cut jump for a fakie 540 off a curb? What?
But respect for holding it down still man. Still got it, and all your negatives. FYI groms, if you don’t know, he was one of the originals moving the negative movement. Back when pros would hate on you for doing them.

That was fresh! I wish you groms would start showing some respect. Omar is oldschool USD from the Brain Fear Gone era of blading. One of the first skaters to explore negative grinds and he has pro products under his belt.
Its time you kids started learning your roots because you all sound pretty ridiculous. None of these negative comments above could possibly come from someone who knows their history or has been skating atleast a decade.

Fairly certain that Omar is the first rollerblader I ever saw do soul to 360 topsoul on a rail.
In 2000 or 2001 or so. That was fairly ground-breaking territory back then, as were all his negative tricks, as was the concept of freestyle frames, which stems from Omar and the first M-types.
Sure, this edit isn’t his finest hour and he’s capable of much more, but maybe he hasn’t had time, maybe his body is just shattered, or maybe he’s just a bit out of shape/out of form on skates. It might come back, it might not, but he’s an OG and put this edit out for free.
A lot of respect for this guy. Some of is Fruitbooter section is pretty bonkers as well. His Closer section too.

That was a respectable comeback edit. Especially compared to some of his earlier edits on here which were just sad. You can see some of the old Omar in this edit. He’s getting back to form. Def. want to see more from him soon. Just one freestyle fish for old time sake!

Man, I guess anybody that puts an online edit up is subjecting it to unfiltered criticism-fair rules in this game. It would be nice to see some respect and decency once in a while though. The dude is older now, like many of us. The fact that he can still skate pretty good, took the time to go out and film for this section (because he obviously still likes to skate and has fun doing his thing), and then finally put it up online for free should be enough to at least get a nod of appreciation. Too much close minded opinion pandering here. Big up to Wysong this edit was hella fun to watch and I would love to see more edits from him in the near future!

I think a lot of the hand flips aren’t so good for camera, on their own they are a slow and ungraceful trick and in a line they just slow the skater right down and lose the flow..
But omar can skate any way he wants. It’s his life and his rollerblades

@tillet: what crazy rail to rail transfer were you talking about. In the old roced skates if you don’t wax the rail you slide really slow on down rails which is why there are a few videos out there with transfers like that. It’s not hard cause it’s right below . Still good to see tim ward videos. I thought you meant he gapped like ten feet from one trail to another
