Nobody Cares: Clement Boucau (Frenchy Fries) Entry.
I just dropped Clement Boucau at the airport this morning, and now I am supposed to write this little presentation for the short edit we made for the Franco Shade / Nobody Cares video contest…
Well, there’s not much to say about this funny little character. He’s actually really shy, and his english is not that good, so that could have made the 10 days he spent in San Diego kind of complicated. But the happy smile he carries on his face, and his “baboon on acid” gimmicks made his stay really easy, and his presence here well accepted.
He came to California with a busted knee, so we didn’t get to skate that much during his stay, but between all the burgers at Carl’s Jr, the chill sessions at the beach, and the touristic visits downtown, he still managed to skate Poway and Escondido’s parks, shot a few clips on real street spots, and competed at the AIL contest last week-end at Woodward West, getting props from legends like Jon Julio or Robert Guerrero for his skating. All this mixed with countless, endless laughs…
Well, these were good times after all, and these 10 days went by way too fast. Clement is somebody you really enjoy having around you. He’ll bring a smile on your face, and his stylish skating is certainly worth watching. Hope you enjoy this little section flimed and edited for you and the Franco Shade guys by Samuel “Bodchoy” Courdent !

Great question to ask. I don’t think he’s Franco Shade material.
He had a great / clean edit, but I still don’t think he should win. Reason being is because he only did 7 tricks in his whole edit.

I love how everyone is so easily amused on every skater. When running a company verses just thinking every skater is good, its a whole different ball game. Their are a lot of things to take into consideration, you just don’t throw on anyone on the team because they are good.

I have to agree. I think that what he did was hard but For the person that said Rachard only has 13 tricks is a fucking moron. LARJ Does over 50 tricks regular and switch. He does spin to grind tricks. This guy just did 7 tricks. Yes they were on something hard but the idea isn’t to do a simple trick on something hard all the time but to do a hard trick on something hard as well. All those tricks he did I do now. I’m not stupid enough to do them on something that if I fall I can’t go to work but I have done those tricks on things Just as crazy where I’m from. Honestly it’s funny how every post someone says that they have a new winner when they apparently can’t seem to grasp the idea of remembering the qualities of each rider and seeing if they fit the FS image. Rachard isn’t a monster rail type guy. He’s a smooth single trick sometimes Switch up type of guy with a chill personality. This is why he’s on FS. This guy seems to be able to hold his balance but We already have someone like him. He’s called Carlos Pianowski. We don’t need another. Riders should be original. Have a trick that sets them apart from everyone else. Bailey with his Sweaty, Aragon with his 540 true top acids, Haffey with his…. Okay he’s haffey. Point is what seperates these guys from the rest of the crowd. There’s over a hundred pros that are out right now. What about him seperate from the hammer layers like Feinberg, Pianowski, Michael Braud, Shima, Broskow, etc…. it’s not his style, He’s focusing on surviving the big ass down ledge/rails.

Ok listen up everyone, today I was at Jeremy Soderburgs house and he showed me some new footage to his section for a new video. It should release Summer 08.
Please keep in mind, I’m not trying to favor Jeremy, but let me tell you that this new footage was super sick / FS Fresh. His skating style, clothing style, and personality, defiantly fits the Franco Shade image. This kid is on point.

très bonne vidéo, y’a tout, le style, la vitesse et la difficulté. les cainris j’ai juste l’impression que ça les fait un peu chier que y’est un ptit français qui poste une aussi bonne vidéo pr ce concours…prodigy you are talking shit. it’s only a 90 second vid, he wanted to show that he can easily take big spots. if the edit was twice larger he would have shown to you that he can also kick your ass with switch-ups you didn’t even know they were possible.

Clement Milot defiantly did some big shit. He’s a good skater, I didn’t like all those switchups he did. Regardless, that’s my own personal opinion and everyone else will have their own opinion.
I remember watching old footage of Carlos Pianowski in 97′ or 98′ when he was still in Brazil and let me tell you this kid was fucking more amazing than what you see now. He’s one of my fav. skaters. He was doing negative tricks back then, that’s crazy.
