Street & park clips of mister Nicky Adams. We filmed in Montreal & Ottawa last summer in order to offer you this short video edit.
Nicky Adams was in the Salomon Pro team back in the day and he won the X-games in 1999 (first black to win a gold medal).
He had few exposure these last years but he never left rollerblading. He is one of the most professional skater I skated and filmed with. He lace his tricks first try most of the time and always do it with the biggest smile and swag ever.

really nice editing/filming, gave a great feel to the edit. gota say i wasn’t heaps sold on the street stuff at the beginning, but once it hit the park i shut right up haha, the man has got some serious flow. great work.

Is it even relevant to say “first black to win gold”? maybe back in the 50s and 60s when blacks were banned from events. Montre… We don’t say he’s the 1st black to win bcsd? The race thing is over. I hope he starts competing again. I mean he`s ok in street, but back in the day he was more fluid and comfortable in park than most pros are today. He just made going big seem effortless, so much so that it looked fake even though you were right there watching him skate. I`m sure if he got back into it full time, he`ll be up against the top skaters in no time.

I’ll never forget the cork 720 he did in his X-Games gold run. Shit was so perfect. He’s always had an advantage at park and it’s on full showcase here. Glad to have him back, hopefully way more to come.
