finally an edit with a good amount of footage so we can actually judge who should have won fairly.i’m pretty sure the top contenders here were still haffey, cudot, and broskow.haffey and broskow definitely have more years under their belts and have had a lot more time to refine their styles, but i still think cudot skated incredibly and was just as deserving of the win as either of them.i definitely would have hated being a judge that day since everyone skated so well.
I agree with Ryan. It’s pretty obvious that Cudot did the best tricks and was worthy of the win. However I think Haffey would’ve won if he had had a better day. Broskow seemed a bit indifferent but his style is so refined that everything he does looks amazing.
Michael Collins comment on the Valo-edit really filled me with disgust. He had no idea what he was talking about. He wasn’t there and didn’t have all the footage. As if he were neutral judge, being Broskow’s friend and Valo-am!
Everyone should be happy that Cudot won. It must’ve been a huge thing for him coming all the way from Europe.
Julien is amazing and cleaaaaaarly deserved to win, he did THE biggest tricks on every obsticle. If Julien gets to the hoedown and the ‘world finals’ i reckon he will snatch the WRS top spot from aragon.
THis place is awesome for the Montreal classic and that is it. The place is infested with skateboarders the rest of the year, and they are fucking pricks to rollerbladers. Montreal is a skateboarding city with deep roots and they do not give a shit about rollerbladres. They cut you off non stop and shoot their boards out in front of you just to be dicks. The bmx ass fucks are a whole other story. The park is awesome, but trying to get a decent session there is next to impossible.
This last statement is false, there’s plenty of time in the middle of the week where the park is near empty… And what an useless shitty talk about other sports…
