Isn´t it a positive thing that everyone doesn´t skate the same way? I think he has a uniqe aproach to blading. I like it.
Isn´t it a bit stupid in our small community to not be able to see that diversity makes us stronger. Why would we wanna become more like any other “eXtremesport” and have big shows and shit? To make more money? Money is not gonna make you happier you know.
I think it´s a good thing we are all looked down upon, even all you haters, because it makes blading more legit and if you realize that it doesn´t matter what everyone thinks about you, you can really get a lot off energy off this thing we do for the love of it.

Christ. This is awful. The reason no one else has ever skated those spots is because they are shit. There is no angle to this skating. Its so flawed its unreal. I see something I want to put my feet on, so I do it. Great. Its like watching a baby learn to walk. No one cares, start running and do a flip and make it interesting baby.
And he’s on Ground Control? We need new direction yes but…this is not skilled, its nothing.

You just don’t get it, ROLLERBLADING IS MARKETING, IT’S A SPECTATOR SPORT. It’s not about the big stunts you pull, those can obviously help, it’s ALL ABOUT YOUR MARKETABILITY. DO YOU HAVE A STYLE THAT IS MARKETABLE? Do you look good when you rollerblade? Are you a good looking person? Were you born with good physique or a handsome face? This is the first requirement. The next would be your style of rollerblading, it does not matter how big your stunts are, Kevin’s style proves this. And then lastly is your trick vocabulary.
In my opinion, guys like Haffey and Aragon have marketability, they have style and they a certain “LOOK” factor, yes they were born with it. Every pro athlete is BORN WITH IT.

I think the majority of people upset with this edit aren’t protesting his ‘unconventional’ skating, but rather that companies like Xsjado and GC are giving him an exceptional amount of credit by having him on their team with such a high title like Am for Xsjados.
I’m sure Yee is having the time of his life skating the way he does, after all don’t we all? But just because he skates differently, and spots skate spots that others would otherwise would not (more like we ignore because they are horridly unattractive) does not deem him a skill level of a GC rider or a Xsjado Am.
But ultimately, more power to him cus he loves what he’s doing and he’s getting a large amount of controversial reviews which feeds his skating lol.
Verdict: other people doing bigger, leeter, and fucking amazing shit should be in his place.

not much of a skill intensive edit but the spots he skates are like right around the corner. allthough i relate to this as this is my recent way of skating having to blade from home to work and viceversa. so one might say that this i something rad. i would say its the casual adaptation of rollerblading to our everyday normal fucked up lifes.

This is good skilled edit, don’t get the hate, some rail are high, the last sweaty is done one rail which isn’t that small, the line are awsome specially the trunk to trunk transfert, the reverse soul stall on the wall… He does deserve the be on both Xs and create orignial team because he’s creative, how many of these spots could you ride haters ?????
