K2 Website Updated, well sort of…
K2 updated their website : Great News ! Well not really, first where are the aggressive skates ? not a word about the team, nothing… Where are the Yasutoko Skates, Ben Weiss ?
Oh i found some aggressive skates there ! The concept is a bit wierd : you have the Soul Series where you will find the K2 Fatty pro Skates next to … fitness skates. -Not comments-
Well at least there is a photo of a Rollerblader. I’m not sure that everybody will understand what this is about (hmm ? a man standing on a rail with Inlines Skates on ? Wierd)

With the k2 Fatty Junior Skates : same concept : the aggressives skates are mixed with fitness ones…

Ben’s not on the team, he’s just riding them. Mike Currier is also currently riding a pair of Roces.

I first skated the fatty in 1995/96 and back then it was the first skate with a big soul space, after my roces vert skate and I liked it a lot! But that was ten years ago and they only changed to ufs, not a big improvement for ten years. I’m looking forward to see a new K2 skate with improved soul and royal plates…but I think this won’t happen.

were u not expecting this..>? nobody bought any of the recent skates. the most popular skate was k nemesis like 3-4 years ago. how culd they afford to keep a team…
ben weiss + pat lennan were sick on the team so that kind of sucks, but i guess were just filtering the industry ;)

senatesk8r : i know that it’s a hard time for Skates Brands, but looks Rollerblade, we first think that they will completely their team, but they changed for a new concept (Worldwide flow team).
