True that to whoever said his skating is interesting. He doesn’t do massive hammers like some people, but almost everything he does is clearly difficult, very stylish, unique, and has an element of danger to it that almost makes it a hammer. Not saying he isn’t one of the best out, cuz he is. I’m just sayin’ he does a sweet job of doing his own thing and making people wanna copy it. Just saying he isn’t trying to be the next Aragon or Haffey, he’s trying to make people wanna be the next Bolino. He’s still young too, so I can only imagine what his skating will be like in a couple of years.

Got a real feel/vibe from that of, I hate to word it like this because he’s still technically the same guy, “new” Farmer. Don’t mean that in terms of clothing choice whatsoever and yes, Farmer did do a lot of “creative” stuff when he was still rockin’ baggy sweats, but there’s much more thought and emphasis put into tricks choice now as opposed to I’m-going-to-do-every-tech-trick-possible-on-this-rail (sick as that is in itself-massive fan of his early, rail-killing sections).
A lot of the fast, short, grinds on interesting obstacles with styled spins out, done on rugged terrain.
If you’re being compared to Farmer, can’t be doing anything too bad as, like him or loathe him, he’s one of the most progressive rollers we’re ever had.

I agree with Jamie. I got into rolling because I hated the “follow a routine”, team sport, school colors lifestyle. You can wear whatever you want when you roll but at the end of the day what people remember is how you blade not the colors you wear. If Jon Jon wants to go rocker, so be it, it’s his smooth blading that’ll reel in the new generation of real bladers, not posers that show up to skate parks to chit chat and talk about their new clothes.

I don’t understand why people think the choice has to be Skinny/Baggy
Aragon/Haffey Rock/Hip Hop…
The moment you make a conscious choice between anything you change your perspective subconsciously.
So the moment that you say to yourself “I like skaters in baggy pants” it stops you from viewing anyone in skinny pants the way that you should be. (i.e watching the skating)
Instead of making a choice based on the status quo of fashion and music, why don’t you just watch the fucking skating and be on your way…
