that was a good edit, and look guys. for once unlike many other comps the pro’s werent favored in the choice of winning, what a suprise -_O. (i.e. steel valley edit, or bitter cold showdown.) i woulda been so pissed if shima won. and i didnt even c haffey compete :O, hopefullly there will be a few more edits up.

i have some advice that i think everyone, including myself - because i have been known to over-react to someone’s comment - should just ignore people who hate from now on. lets not even acknowledge them and hope that they just shape up. im so god damn sick of the lack of respect some rollers have for their fellow rollers.

Benny and nick were mind blowing, nicks 270 back back to soul 360 just left me in bits on the floor, and benny literally destroyed his shin to bits BEFORE slamming and then landing the final trick, also other sick skaters killed it, like leonov and bailey skated really sick also…and just everyone, Silhan of course…

I mean the tradeshow and gettin high as fuck was probably cool but…. this event was hyped to shit as the be all and end all of street comps. And I almost fell for it cause Julio was sayin it, and i was going to spend a fucking shit load to go out there for 3 days. The format of that comp was basic, ledge, downrail, bigger downrail. Unless I am missing something really big that will be shown in another edit the comp was wack, and not because it was really not good, but becasue it was hyped and came off really mid-range.

I know that the pre and the contest weren´t nearly long enough. But hey, this is what the imyta is to me.
Hanging out with friends and new friends. skate together. feel the vibe together. Get to know the pro´s who are all sick skaters AND really nice. Have pre and aftersessions… isn´t that all enough? IMYTA is crazy, tricks are crazy, but most off all the people and the vibe is what makes IMYTA sick…

One guy that deserves credit is Yair Viner from Israel. He skated crazy for two days in a row. He almost laced 360° sweat on the second rail. Youri Botelli almost laced 450° topsoul on that rail. This comp was crazy and people almost got killed trying to win it. I also saw some pros refusing to skate the second spot because of the ledge next to it. A lot of guys couldn’t even skate the last spot because they got killed on the ledge at the second spot!!!

ahhh werent there but looked like a good comp, i agree with the guy a few above who said there should be more variety and diversity in the format set up… hmmm bennis last trick was amazing but from what i hear azikwee was being very biased towards him cant really comment i werent there but NICK DESERVED IT SO MUCH.. LOVELY GUY AN SIK SKATER…besides it was benis mates who rushed him at the end probs… lol
