Damn ive been waiting for this! Great job B-MO! The Hoedown is always a crazy contest and I strongly encourage people to come down to TX for it because it never disappoints.
Eisenbergs is a REAL skatepark, an old school skatepark, and good tricks don’t come easy there. The ground is sketchy, the rail wobbles and that big wall with the ledge on top will fuck you up if you are not careful, but that is why its such a great skatepark. There is so much good history to that park. Anyways, great skating to everyone that competed and hope to see all of ya’ll there again next year!

Eventhough it’s hard as fuck, it’s so fucking boring to watch the skaters flying against that wall over and over and over again..

they really need to remove that wallride box for next year,each new year its just getting more dry,I cant reacll a trick on that box that wasnt done in last years edit or the year befores or the year before thats,its a tough obstical theres no getting away from it but its time for a fresh challenge next year for the good of the contest

who 540 grinds into that high transfer? CJ did, 540 ao soul at 4:42. and he did way more spins out of grinds than haffey, in addition to spinning into grinds, sick lines, transfers from rail to sub box, all with amazing consistency. haffey landed some big tricks but when you consider everything, CJ took it. has anyone else ever made it up the rail to sub box and then transferred back to the down rail? shit hasn’t been done til now for a reason, think about it

All CJ did was farvs and royales. hate to be that guy but from this edit, CJ did not deserve to win. But the true fish 5 out he did was easily one of my favorite tricks of the edit.

p.s. you can never get an accurate glimpse at a comp through an edit… CJ landed everything… was hella consistent. Props to Haffey for not skating the same shit he always does and for breaking in (destroying) the new sub box that was built. Actually props to everyone that skated… No props to the crowd that was in the way of all the skaters trying to do tricks though.

from someone who was there… cj killed it. he was the most consistent skater there, and was going huge. yeah haffey did some big stuff, but only 2 or 3 tricks on the extension. cj wellsmore skated everything and laced multiple tricks on everything. everyone i was with knew he was going to win when it was over, and that haffey was getting best trick.
