FFS Pro does not just mean meeting a level of skill (which is very subjective anyway), it’s about the other things you do within, and for the industry. I actually think we have too many ‘pro’s’ for our fledgling industry. I guess Demetrious would be too busy to put out internet edits for rollernewscunts.

I think the thing that is stopping people is that every skate team already has its heirarchy of whose the best on down the pecking order, and it would upset someone’s ego to have CJ come in and suddenly be considered “the best” on their team. the only team that might not have this problem is USD, but for whatever reason they just want to continue to support washed up American pros. so sad. for the sport and for CJ. But maybe someone will do the right thing and give us all something to be proud of once again, by sponsoring the guy who has been on top for the last 3 years (even if he didn’t get to prove it last year). RESPECT to CJ!

LOL is 100% correct. People talk about the younger kids on rollernews being little ass hole groms. Well, the primadona “og’s” on be-mag are even worse as far as I am concerned. I have been rollerblading since the beginning, and LOL is 100% correct about what being a pro means. These little cliques you see all over are not all that much different than a bunch of high school girls. There are very few scenes where the members aren’t a bunch of self-absorbed cunts.
Maybe I am drinking the kool-aid, but I have high hopes for what Fester may do for rollerblading. If it flop, well, then it flops. At least I know a real effort is coming out of there. It’s a company for men who work and rollerblade, not cunts who try and bleed everyone else dry with an alliance of their friends.
By the way, you want to support someone doing something for rollerblading, check out rollerwarehouse. If money matters to you, that is where you should do your business. If supporting a shop full of “cool dudes” is your thing, well, then take your pick of pretty much any other shop and take your ass raping with it.
