Rollerblading on TV with a mega-ramp and guys like Haffey, Alfano, Yasokoto twins etc… would completely change the publics view on rollerblading. Skateboarding wouldn’t know what to do. The future is near.

Best edit in a while. Best skating in a while too. Haffey takes on some seriously huge air, I think most people won’t really understand how huge those ramps are until they’ve fallen on them or nearly escaped serious injury coming out of a flip, or anything with similar difficulty, like Haffey’s fall coming out of the flip near the end.

I couldn’t help thinking while watching this section, “Connor O’brien does not get the respect he deserves.” He has been skating at an AMAZING level for years. He is more stylish and consistent than most skaters. He is also technical as hell and does CRAZY stunts but to date has not received a pro product yet lesser known skaters who are clearly not as gifted have. Connor, keep your head up. You ARE unbelievable. Haffey, if there is any justice in this world, you will get the chance to make A LOT of money before your skating career ends. Haffey deserves to be the Ryan Sheckler of rollerblading. MTV cribs, four cars, the whole deal.

I try to detach myself from rollerblading to see why people don’t like it. I honestly try, and I just do not see it. How riding a dirt bike is better to watch than that is beyond me. Skateboarding certainly is not. Maybe if we start doing tricks 7 inches off the ground we will be all set. I just don’t get it.
