    good stuff!

I can’t wait for this new DVD to come out

  2. PORTAS Says:

Although Farmers influence has not always been for the good of rollerblading he is nevertheless an amazing rollerblader and I for one will be buying this video.

  3. PORTAS Says:

I am not sure that u can call urself “humble”, I think that is a contradiction in terms. I think u have to wait for other people to say whether u are humble or not.

  4. PORTAS Says:

Good to see a true pioneer like Jeff Frederick getting recognition for all his work in the early years of rollerblading. It is a shame that he is so often overlooked

  5. PORTAS Says:

I think having seen all the above sections before that this video like the Broscow dvd will peak in the middle around the “underestimated” time.

  6. PORTAS Says:

Wait I just saw the end of the interview. omg listen mate, ur not Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods or Cristiano Ronaldo.
Although u are a great, great rollerblader there were plenty of greats before u and there will be plenty of greats after u.
I think he puts way to much stock in how influencial he actually is “started to think for urself” didn’t u just start copying different people?

  7. Glen Says:

wow, really nice and professional there…….in the back of a van with boxes, i can see there was lots of time spent thinking about that!!!

  8. jo Says:

can’t wait for the dvd especially for old footages from kfc or bang-times..i think hes one of the most stylish rollerblader, but that was before he chose to wear these horrible close jeans…thinkin about the good old baggy times…

  9. Jordski Says:

I think anybody who’s opinion of farmer changed as his style changed is really closed minded.
I think as he started to get more creative, he improved and gave rollerblading that kick, the kick to start people thinking that rollerblading isn’t all about 45 different switchups on a rail, but about using what you have around you.

I personally much prefer his smooth creative style right now.

  10. PORTAS Says:

Jordski, would that be the “kick” that saw rollerblading numbers drop by around 300%?
    IDIOT

  11. Lukeh Says:

“Jordski, would that be the “kick” that saw rollerblading numbers drop by around 300%?”

“I think he puts way to much stock in how influencial he actually is”

Would that not make him influencial but in a bad way?
    Haha

Personaly I quite like his style now and in older sections
most people change there style of dressing when they get older or just
    want a change.

  12. semar Says:

why do people care about rollerblading numbers?
i seriously doubt farmer’s change in style has had an impact on this 300% drop you’re talking about.
i would have to agree that he did sound slightly contradictory towards the end, being “humble” and saying you’re the best skater with the best syle don’t really go together.
as for his skating peaking at underestimated, i’d say his rail skating did yes, but not his skating as a whole. i’d say his skating as a whole has yet to peak as each section he still brings something new to the table, rather than dated tricks on stair rails which have most likely already been done better by someone like jeff frederick in 99!

  13. PORTAS Says:

    lukeh, good point hahahahah

  14. andreas542 Says:

Farmer is so sick, I admit that I didn’t like his new look when he first changed, but I can watch his meantime section over and over again now, he makes rollerblading look so much fun, and I think its the direction that I want rollerblading to go in

I will definitely be picking up this dvd

  15. andreas542 Says:

On a side note, why aren’t his Adventures in Rollerblading sections included?

  16. jomu Says:

the A.I.R. sections are included according to the dvd cover

  17. JP Says:

heheh, that´s why he´s an icon. Because you guys DO CARE and are still talking about the same shit after years that he “changed”. And…I don´t like this word, I rather use “evolve”.

Talking good or bad things, you´re still talking about him ;)

  18. splinter Says:

Through The Looking Glass is the name of the last 2 episodes from Lost third season

  19. asdfasdfad Says:

does anyone remember the deshi euro tour vid hahaha he did the sickest shit in that

  20. Nick Says:

Farmer is a really cool guy, and everyone that hates on him seems to only acknowledge exterior factors to their hate. If you met him you probably would kiss his ass.

  21. TYPICAL ROLLERNEWS IDIOT Says:

    OMG PANTZ

  22. satan Says:

lol are we done? -i don’t care. hahaha what bullshit interview!
farmer is amazing though, i’m so buying this DVD.

  23. morgan lynch Says:

cool interview.. said id check out the comments.. see what people had to say.. and once again im shocked.. little more hating goin on.. i dont understand why tho??? i thought he was honest and just up front.. and in my opinion he is one of the jordans of rollerblading.. portas your more than entitled to your opinion but why you callin people idiots man?? maybe its just the outlook i have.. or where im from but if i see someone with a sketchy style.. i do think they should try to impove it by bending there knees or a new t-shirt.. i UNDERSTAND that style comes with time… simple as… chris farmer has done a lot for rollerblading.. its all good stuff to.. props to farmer.. and fredricks and all the greats..

  24. monkey shoes Says:

farmer will always be my fave tech skater no doubt.

  25. irollercrazy Says:

    ur on drugs farmer

  26. JP Says:

hehehe, i´m the the car in the back :) hahaha, great memorys :)

  27. mwha Says:
