Lausanne, Santa Cruz, L.A., London, Philadelphia, Budapest plus there are many more places I’ve skated on park and street and never seen a quad skater doing anything like this (I’ve only seen people dancing on them) – So how many people are there doing this (worldwide)? Tens? Hundreds? Making Rollerblading look pretty mainstream!!!

Brian “The Brain” Wainright is the man. The guy is soooo chill and loves blading. He was even on Chris Edwards Birth tour back in 1998. Yes he also rips on a skateboard and blades. He is also one of the nicest, modest dudes you will ever meet.

really great find. It’s interesting b/c the other quad skating I’ve seen seems more “in-line” with blading, but this was definitely more skateboard influenced. I appreciate the skill and skateboard carving techniques. Something in the style and execution falls short in the limitation presented by the skates. Landing split stance looks awkward and difficult, but essential on such a set-up. Call it bias, but I’d rather see Stockwell shredding a powl with major swag factor.

Brian Wainwright is the man! Deep respect for that guy!

I was always confused by his style, but that dude has been killing it his own for way for ages so nothing but love n respect. Plus: who can really say of himself that he can spider-walk halfpipes n shit ;-)

  13. Rob Says:

Sorry, but looks more skateboarding than rollerblading because of rolling sideways.. And he’s always going sideways with his quads.

have any of you tried to skate like this on blades? the leg position makes for an interesting way to enter into tricks. always get people going when i do it on ramp
