Bcam: Whats up homies I actually been working at the world famous Hawleywood Barbershop in costa mesa CA.
Alejoh: So what is it like to be a barber?
Bcamp: Being a barber is probably the next coolest thing that I could do besides skating I see lots of professional skateboarders all the time coming and going out of the shop such as Jason Jessee, Duane peters and much more of the old school punk rock skate scene so I feel like I’m still involved with the scene as far as music and skating goes, and I get to drink on the job hahah. you see lots of professional skateboarders? so what? that’s not being involved with the scene, if i watched skateboard vidoes and said I know rollerblading would you not confront me about it? i think that’s a bunch of jack shit. who cares about skateboarders on a rollerblading site? i don’t have anything against them, i respect their sport actually, but to say that ur involved with the rolling scene cuz u “SEE” professional skateboarders all the time is a bunch of horse shit.

im sorry to say…but this is stupid. b-cam, you were a true original. you pushed the rollerblading in stunts and in your “ruthless attack” style. now it seems as if you regressed to a typical 30+ year retired 80s skateboarder. you’re not even that old! do you even mention to your clients and co-workers that you are a rollerblader? idk man, i was bummed to this is happen to you and petty.

b cam is one of those bladers in my mind who was super athletic when he was young (HOPS!!) but who really let himself go at an early age. he reminds me that we should respect the skaters that keep skating hard into their late 20s or even 30s because not everyone will last that long.
and the fact that b cam isn’t pro for our sport anymore is good, we need people with real substance, not pretenders, b cam may have had a lot of talent and ability for blading but his attitude sucked, and his current state of life reflects that. best of luck though, and i still watch his old sections and wish that i had hops like that! but i will take haffey’s humility anyday over b cams shit talking
