did not like the recreational take on big air
should have got some pro riders down there for that, they would have murdered it.

its worrying though to think that that was the place that the worlds largest rolling contests used to take place.
amaqzing things happened there for park and street skating.
although the x cross wasnt so bad,it was just a bit worrying seeing the standard of those guys getting pulled by the bike.
really
really worrying!

wow (sarcasm), that was a bit too much to stomach. If that’s how wer’e being portrayed to the masses, we’ll never be taken seriously. fuck that lame shit.

while i am usually up for exploring every aspect of rolling with wheels under your feet, there shouldn’t of been that big of a crowd for that. the stuff in that video is the shit you do with your friends when you’re bored. people need to see the aragons, the murda’s, broskows, etc.

so whats your plan? more tv exposure? personally, I am free of the insecurity where people worry of the perception of rollerblading. It’s up to the individual, you have to have the right attitude. And I dont think just slagging this off is the correct attitude. Ok so its not the image you want.. but, its not the image you’re giving anyway, so why slag it off? These guys go incredibly fast, and its quick wacky just to see the speed of it. theyre also quite physically fit, some of aggressive skatings skaters are ill-health weed-smokers. This isn’t so bad, it isn’t.

Every other type of rollerblading is gay

I think the competition looked like a lot of fun. I would like to be in a competition like that just for fun :)

the race is so sic for me it’s just crazy, may be this kind of people entertainment with rollers action will be popular…just as a nice show

LOL at the aggressive skater comments. True, aggro skaters would perhaps make more style out of the furniture, but this is a race, a little like ski-cross. Aggro skaters would be left far behind because they can’t make enough speed.
I’m with Phil, there are all sorts of skating, there’s no point in knocking one type because you like a different kind of skating.

Im with “so wack” and “marshall” on this one. The simple fact is that aggressive skating deserves that same (if not a lot more) exposure than that form of rollerblading.
The amount of skill and style involved in a section of ANY pro rollerblader blows that entire “race” away. If there was a crowd like that at a movie premiere pro skaters might not actually have to work at burger king.

“Aggro skaters would be left far behind because they can’t make enough speed.”
Kevin Quintin is an “aggro skater”.

From what most people seem to be saying, you would think events like this are somehow stealing exposure and money from aggressive skating. I think you’ll find that none of the skaters in the video make a living from skating. Most of them probably don’t even have sponsors.
Someone organised an event; people turned up; they had fun. Get over it.

Fun event, the ammount of people on it amazed me, yet it seemed ridiculous to me most of it.. not the race but like the stunts. Come on, jumping on water? That is simply.. wrong. Yet i liked the part where they were beeing pulled by the bike, I would love to do that ramp. I laughed so much on the skateboarder spinning at the end ;D

If you are in the corner and have no money to go out from that, you will require to take the loans. Just because that should aid you definitely. I get commercial loan every year and feel great just because of it.
