I love Dre, he’s still holding it down after all these years.
I just feel sorry for kids like Nils Jansons who fucking shred their asses off and don’t imitate anyone, just drop hammers and do their own thing and are amazing… and are the future.
Dre is sick and I’m glad he’s still on Razors because his Game Theory section surprised everyone and shut a lot of people up.
This just feels wrong to me, unfair. But it’s done now so that’s that.
BHC are a lot like Sony, they do their own thing and don’t give a fuck about what their customers think, the only difference is Sony makes quality products.

i personally am happy azz right now… finally Dre powell on a wheel brand and team with caliber… the fact that he hasnt had as much coverage as say nils or hooi even doesnt mean shit but yeah sure we all want to see where their skating is at and this guy has great character and knows whats up and what rolling needs… not some robotic blading and no interaction type shit but real PRO real personality and some siick ass moves… BHC section coming soon be grabing me a copy as well as seven rats…
BHC make quality wheels these days so if your comparing a skate brand to a sony thats just silly right there…
we can lookforward to many exciting developments ahead and past is the past and it should be learnt from and respected fully…
WE are the most Diverse sport in action sport , not saying others aint good but we cant be compared in general terms now days.. shits epic and look at whats making it do well…

If anything Dre Powell is seriously underrated! The guy has done his time and payed his dues. He is one of the most original and creative skaters of all time! He’s one of the few, perhaps even only skaters that has and can combine tech and mushroom skating. Anyone talking shit on him just needs to go back and check out some old videos and mags. further more, anyone talking shit on him needs to go back and learn about rollerblading history. Here’s a starting point -read the Dre vs Dunkle interview from Daily Bread. I bet half of you bitches moaning about him haven’t even heard of daily bread! the only reason up and comers dont get their props is because our community, granted growing everyday, is still too small to support the crazy new kids comin up.sum flow and am kids ( and most pros, for that matter) deserve a lot more than they get.
however, that doesnt mean we should forget about our legends. just throw away an influential figure of our history for the new flavor of the month. dre shreds. and anyone who doesnt understand why should really consider their decision to be a rollerblader. last time i checked creative, stylish, tech and stunt skating is still awesome. especially when sum1 can put them all together in an ONLINE edit like dre.

Anybody who doubts Dre’s credibility as a ‘pro’ doesn’t have a clue about what we do. Dre is a torch bearer in skating, he is unique and the way he rolls will never be replicated. History is important in what we do, Dre is part of our history and part of our future.

Dre’s a legend, we can’t throw legends out the window.
Anyone I know who has met him also comments on how chill he is, talking to locals, helping people learn tricks.
He may not be doing hurricane topsouls in every edit he puts out, but he has creative moves, tech moves, ninja style and steeze.
Can’t wipe a guy like that off the rolling map just because he’s been around a while. He’s been at this for 15 years and still isn’t broken-as our “sport” grows and ages, kids will be wanting to look at people who managed to keep going and not just people who had 5-6 years of hard-hitting hammers but can never roll again.

I think Dre is wicked and he should keep his Pro status for Razors. To me, Aragon and Dre are the faces of Razors and it would be weird if either of them weren’t pro for the company.
You have to admit though that there aren’t a shit ton of sponsorships going around. I’m just saying share the love. i remember that picture of dre in Box mag doing that top mistral on a stair ledge, it was when he young and up coming, think the quote was “we hear dre has pierce brosnan calling for style tips..” or something like that. Dre’s paid his due’s for years traveling the world and after meeting him I couldn’t say I’ve met a nicer person. He kills it, just because he doesn’t kill contests doesn’t mean shit, look at how many sections he’s had and game theory is one of his best!

Leon Humphries is sick and he doesn’t just skate rails, that’s utter horse shit. He can skate so much and he can skate hard as fuck spots that are all fucked up by bmxer’s and skate boarders. He would tts a chipped to fuck waist high ledge from end to end and most people that skated the same spot would get away with a fucking makio if they were lucky.
