Aragon IV: Razors Promo Clips + Skates Pictures

From the very first aggressive skate in 1995 Razors built its legend on the concept of strength first. And the new SL Aragon 4 takes this idea to dramatic new heights.
The boot shell is made of a new high density polyurethane which provides long lasting support even after months of skating and under warm temperatures. Also new is a harder material for the soul frame and sliders which provide for even faster grinding speeds.
The result is the strongest and fastest Razors skate ever. Yet it comes with remarkably light weight and amazing skate performance. Due to the perfectly grooved backslide plate and baseless design of the soul frame you will experience a super direct contact to the ground, easy transitions and effortless performance of tricks such as backslides, royals and torques.
The is fully loaded with GC Featherlite 2 frames, a new Jug liner specifically designed for the Aragon 4, M1 Urethane wheels, ABEC 7 bearings and a Jug gel shock absorber.

Features
- New Jug Aragon liner
- New harder and stronger boot material
- New faster frame and soul materials
- New ABEC 7 bearings
- GC Featherlite 2 frame
- JUG gel heel pad
- Additional eyelet holes for extra support
- Cross beams in backslide plate area for responsive boot tricks
- Silicon grip pattern on liner
- Velcro tongue attachment
- M1 Urethane Aragon 57 mm/90A wheels

aragon’s setup with the white souls doesn’t look too bad, throw a white cuff on there and they’d be sick.

Aragon is incredible! I dig his skating and I love this edit, but I’m not feeling this all black to much. I definitely agree throw some white parts on it and you got a winner.

Don’t care much for the boot but hopefully the “new material” sliders and such will be sold seperate. I wanna dye my aragon 3s gray and get some new material black sliders, toss a red cuff on and a red hblock in my GC F1s. win.

November 24th, 2010 at 4:03 am
at first i thought they were ugly in the first pics posted, but the finished product looks pretty good, i like
November 24th, 2010 at 4:14 am
To all the fools talking shit about Razors being the same old skate.. Razors currently has 3 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT designs in stores. The “cult” or classic boot, The Genesis, and The SL boot. How is that the same when Valo has kept the exact same design since they came out, just different skins. Remedys has had the same design for ages. Like Razors they have a design that people are used to, and that is why they sell. They tweak things to make improvements and that is all a skate company needs to do. “All black pro model is gay” seriously? Whack comment. Lets make some Green Al Hooi skates so that the 100 people that want green skates are happy. (no disrespect to Hooi, just an example) If people want to talk shit about companies keeping the same designs start with the ones that do that i.e xsjados. Same skate, little tweaks. Nihm, same skate, different skins and new souls. Razors are the best selling skate world wide. Some people must like the same old shit.
November 24th, 2010 at 4:18 am
Don’t talk stupid, the white parts will come just after Christmas with some down syndrome limited edition that will cost more!
November 24th, 2010 at 4:21 am
Lol somebody got butthurt
November 24th, 2010 at 4:33 am
Yeah because Razors has done more than 1 limited edition pro model in the last 8yrs. I could see how you would come to that down syndrome assumption.
November 24th, 2010 at 6:07 am
how much is this black POS gonna be? $399??????
November 24th, 2010 at 6:31 am
shit designed skate = rush before Christmas
November 24th, 2010 at 6:45 am
i still have my aragon 2′s and love them. not a fan of the a4′s, but regardless of all the hate they’ll sell out fast as hell. just watch. and whoever made the comment about razors having 3 different boots out right now is right. the only other company that has different boots out right now is Remz which it’s just more open on the top, and Rollerblade
November 24th, 2010 at 6:46 am
whose newer boots are shit.
November 24th, 2010 at 7:37 am
That’s a weak ad.
November 24th, 2010 at 9:00 am
what have sunshine dist. just discovered the colour blue or somin? seriously could of brought out a batter product or at least a decent ad for it. lame.
November 24th, 2010 at 9:01 am
Why is Aragon not skating them stock? Now all the kids who spend their parents money on pro model skates are gunn a want White souls aswell.
November 24th, 2010 at 12:19 pm
People also fail to realize how expensive it is to have new moulds made to change designs, and that’s not even getting to the cost of R&D.
The design’s fine. If it ain’t broke…
November 24th, 2010 at 12:47 pm
didn’t know that razors was involved in the baby toys industry
Razors gay as usual
November 24th, 2010 at 1:37 pm
Love the edit, love the skate. Though there’s nothing worse than a promo edit that doesn’t feature the skate stock, as it’s sold. Makes you think Brian isn’t happy with that liner or the all-black look.
November 24th, 2010 at 1:45 pm
I agree that razors throws some spin on their lingo to boost up sales but there’s an obvious difference between a 200$ skate and 300$ skate (in most cases). They give this industry a good name because they have a high standard in both their products and their riders. The color scheme may not be everyone’s favorite but the skate itself is top of the line.
November 24th, 2010 at 1:51 pm
Haffey promo clip was 100 times better when news haffeys droped but this clip is so boring for the new A4 skates.
Only 2 easy tricks for the promo edit and skates are out wordwide
Comeon Aragon, you can`t to better then that for the consumer.
November 24th, 2010 at 2:08 pm
make it all white with a grey cuff!!!
November 24th, 2010 at 4:12 pm
harder boot material? please no…
November 24th, 2010 at 5:56 pm
White cuff + White backslide plate = Shima 1 throwback skate. Release a Shima 2 throwback skate Razors. You know it makes sense!!!
November 24th, 2010 at 6:01 pm
Maybe don’t call it a ‘Shima 2′ though. Legal reasons and all that…
November 26th, 2010 at 11:20 pm
Hello there, to those that care, the edit was done by me.
As an artist, I’m always interested in hearing what people say, sometimes is good, sometimes not so much. To those that liked the edit, I’m glad you did, I have to say that this was super fun to make, and without trying to sound cheesy, Razors has always been one of my favorite clients because they let me try a lot of new things, things that wouldn’t work for my other clients. Yes it might look unusual, but that’s the stuff I like to do, to make them stand out. From the music I pick, to the way is edited I want it to be unique and memorable.
To those who didn’t like it, I’m open to criticism as long as is constructive, get in touch with me and let me know what you would like to see if you have ideas, but whatever these are, I don’t want them to be similar to something else out there :)
This is a great skate, as my friend Francisco says, ‘all you need to do is try them on a ledge.’
For those interested:
There was a little article about some of my works here before:
rollernews.com/miguel-vega-accenttv-visuals_4367.html
But what they don’t say, is that at some point, I also did design work (some of you might not remember these) for: Daily Bread, Jethro, Franco Shade, Able Frames, Jug, Reign, Ground Control, etc.
Thanks for reading!
