Ok, so I appreciate the clip a lot because I, like many others are looking forward to V. But….. Are we really going to have people gawking and drooling over one trick?

  8. Yi Yiiiiiiii Says:

Anyone about to bitch about the rail being short is a fucking dummy. I hate Valo, but that was legit rollerblading.

  9. Some Sense Says:

Yeah, the rail being that length is what made that 360 of the end hard

  10. ggggggg Says:

  14. RollerGizzang Says:

I will gladly drool all over that OMG !

That shit was soooooooooo super nice ! and 90% of pros out there can’t even do this trick !!!!

    Must buy valo skates now…

  15. monrovia Says:

    yeeee doin real tricks again!

  16. Anonymous Says:

lol…more small rails…grow some balls….what an embarrassment to rollerblading. no wonder rollerblading is dying in America, your pros skate shit that skateboarders laugh at.

  17. BTW Says:

Two people have already commented on this trick as being switch for AB. Just another proof that the people who comment here aren’t the ones that know most about rollerblading.

  18. France can't skate street Says:

Hahaha you gotta love these dudes who think doing 900s and quarter pipe 360 souls is “going big”. Where are your street sections France?

  19. Blade4Life Says:

Blading is STILL growing in the USA.

FACT: there are more rollerbladers skating in New York City than the entire country of France.

France = Tiny market compared to entire USA scene.

  20. buahahhaa Says:

^^^^^^^^^^^^ now that was clean broskow!

  21. chris Says:

hieneman and meister to name 2 that could wipe the flor with most us pros. everyone in france rollerblades the way everyone rides a bike in holland

  22. Yi Yiiiiiiii Says:

He didn’t have five seconds to tee up that 360. It was either lace that or take a nasty fall. To me, that 360 is what really made me say “whoa” there.

  23. E$ROCK Says:

I dont understand how anyone can talk shit on that

  24. Anonymous Says:

There are more rollerbladers in the tiny country of France than the entire United States. Why? because you tap tiny rails like these and think its important.

Come to a French comp with 10,000 people watching, and 500 beginners competing and you’ll understand. Broskow didn’t make the first round cut at Winterclash, but at BCSD he does spin to win on a skateboard rail.

  25. lol Says:

go big or go home fanboys. another predictable small rail trick from Broski. at least he wasnt wearing a dress and a pirate hat this time.

  26. jim Says:

    rollerbladers at war with rollerbladers

does anyone see how this is what kills rollerlbading?

we fight with one another because we’re all so self concious with what rollerlbading should be because we’re all sick of being percieved wrong by non bladers.

    can anyone see this?

  27. Ray Soto Says:

WTF? Really? The best on this planet we call earth,Broskow that is…..Jeremy Raff might agree,SYF!!!!!!

  28. Yi Yiiiiiiii Says:

    jim,

The fact of the matter is, skateboarding bitch slapped rollerblading 10 years ago. That is what has killed rollerblading. I don’t check skateboarding websites, but I would imagine the same kind of commenting goes on.

  29. DarthRoller Says:

Couple of people commenting on the rail being short.

Normally I hate small/short/low grinds, but some tricks are actually MUCH more difficult on them. Getting a really nice looking topside on something really low can be extremely tough for example, as you have to get your body down towards it, whereas we’re used to jumping up towards things.

This full cab fish 360 out is also insane due to the shortness of the rail. He has to get the spin into the grind done on time, lock it and be balanced enough (doesn’t have 10 feet to prepare his body) to be ready to hit the 360 out.

Whilst it may not look visually as impressive as doing the trick on a drop rail, it’s actually a lot more difficult technically.

A lot of rollerbladers understand that. Outside eyes, the ones we’re trying to draw into rollerblading, would not.

So sections/clips are always a catch 22. We’ve accepted that we’re ridiculously underground and are progressing the “sport” for ourselves and not for others, who want to see the IMYTA final spot tricks and the huge park comps, which are also incredibly sick but in a different way.

Whether or not one (or more) companies will ever deliberately embrace a section structure to show 50% rollerblading as the individual wants to showcase his own style and 50% attempted “larger appeal” rollerblading would be interesting to see, but I doubt it would ever happen and it’d probably be in vain anyway, given that we host everything on Vimeo and not YouTube, where the numbers are.

We (rollerbladers) can’t embrace the diverse mix that rolling has to offer, hence the constant cyclical arguments, so how do we expect the public to? And to be honest at this stage, do we care/does it matter? The only people that it directly affects (apart from when boot companies go bust) is the pros and sponsorship is a perk of rolling, a bonus, it isn’t the main deal. We all roll for fun and self-progression at the end of the day and juggle it with our jobs. Just the way it is.

  30. Valo Says:

For all you haters hating on AB check his quick edit. SWITCH 360 TO SWITCH FISH SWITCH 360 OUT.

  31. Scott Wilcoxson Says:

Reality. None of you on this board could do that full cab grabbed ao fish, let alone 3 out.

Reality #2. The outside world doesnt give a fuck about bio 9′s off the bridge or 3 souling kinked drop rails. Most people are just trying to put food on the table.

  32. darek Says:

that was too fucking sick i will practice my whole life super hardcore to be able to do that
    broskow is THE best
