This edit is clearly about the artistry of skating, the FINER points, not jock hucking.
All you fools worrying about going big clearly have small dicks. You guys are soooo concerned about looking tough and “extreme” it clearly shows that you have a lot to prove to yourselves and peers. You’re all about “look at me, look at me, I’m so extreme & so much ballsier than skateboarders!”
Real tough guys don’t need the approval of others for confidence. Bladers need to respect themselves first and maybe you’ll get the respect that you beg for from boarders, bmxers, and the general public. They don’t care how many times you spin, or how long you hold your grinds for, they only see the confidence and style in our sport. THAT, is what stands out. The real reason blading got dropped in 2004 from the X Games is because blading then lacked of maturity and style back in the days. YES thats right, sloppy, hucking, no grab, bad looking crap is what made blading a joke to the other mature refined sports back then, NOT “how big” we go. Street skateboarding contest are HUGELY popular but yet we all complain “how small” they go, doesn’t seem to matter for their sales though. What they have is marketing and STYLE.

the most basic obstacle we all learn on are knee high ledges. Colin can out skate pretty much any skater on knee high ledges minus a select few of the “elite”, so if you can’t out skate him on the most basic obstacle, a knee high ledge, your not a better skater than him and you skipped learning the basics.

he skates obstacles we all learn on better than chris haffey, in fact he is a better rollerblader than haffey but haffey is a better stunt performer than kelso… if u like stunts and seeing people escape death throw in a haffey section. if you want to see someone with complete control and effortless finesse/creativty then watch kelso… its two different approaches. kelso strives to perfect his technical ability and haffey strives to push the size of the obstacle he skates. kelso does hard tricks that involve skill, while haffey does big tricks that involves guts… its like comparing apples and oranges… i dont want to see haffey skate ledges like i dont want to see kelso skate a mega ramp with a shopping cart

I agree Kelso can skate better than Haffey, like as in he looks more comfortable on blades than haffey but haffey can do way bigger stunts, i mean kelso can do stunts like haffey can skate ledges. but i kind of like them both for who they are and what they offer. they each have made skating harder in their own elements
