Myself and Scott Quinn had some sick sessions over a couple weeks of filming for this edit at the Unit 23 skatepark!
This is the first edit I’ve filmed for since i tore ligaments in my knee back in December so im happy its feeling a lot stronger to the level that i can film web edits again :)

On the 18th of December 2011, Bay 66 Skatepark in London held one of their bi-annual Capital Clash jams and this time the Capital Clashmas brought a very welcomed winter congregation… Wishing a very merry Clashmas to one and all!
Blake Bird organized a build the week before the comp to add a few surprises to the course, bringing the additions of a burly angle iron drop ledge and the feared ‘Ho Ho Ho’ T-Bar over the wall ride.
Despite the SUB ZERO temperature the park saw a fantastic turn out, with friendly faces from all over the UK.
Oliver Sudden kept everyone warm by spinning some old school classics to keep the feet moving, Joey’s mum put on a beautiful Irish hot pot and served teas and coffees all day which was one of the busiest spots at the event as you can imagine!
The riders at the event battled on through the bitter cold into the darkness, hammers were dropped all over the park and caught on camera by Tom Sharman, Jordan Maders, Dom West, Diogo Atidini, Tim Darker, Neil Ingall and Albert Hooi.

Premiering @ The Grove, 2 Morden Road, South Wimbledon, SW19 3BH (Opposite South Wimbledon tube station) on the 3rd February where DVD’s will be on sale for a reduced price of £10.

Joe Atkinson‘s been a driving force in the UK scene for a while as well as charging through the AIL last year in the States and many mainland European events. At the young age of 19 he’s got a bright future ahead of him.
This edit was filmed over just a few sessions this past summer by Adam Kola, Ben Shelbourne and Ollie Thomas and edited by Joe himself.
