Chaz Sands Invitational 2009: Documentary by Simon Mulvaney

A personal look how some of the worlds best professional bladers feel about life on wheels, how they got into rolling and how it has affected their lives.

Get a look at the professionals and amateurs rolling as they warm up for the competition. Kato and the guys discuss the importance of competitions to the blading as an industry and how the WRS (World Rolling Series) works to bring them all together and unite that industry.

Get an inside view into what the international pro’s think of the UK scene and an exclusive look into a warmup session that went down a couple of weeks before the event, involving some of the UK’s finest riders.

Join the discussion as the pro’s talk about the change in venue from Unit 23 skatepark in Scotland, to Rampworx in England to accommodate a WRS event. Chaz walks you through the changes the guys at Rampworx made to the park, and how he thinks the competition will play out.

The pro’s and VIP’s all arrive for the event and head back stage to chill out. Everyone discusses their expectations for the competition and tricks they might try whilst competing. See the highlights from the Amateur and the Female Competitions, with Jenna and Fallon’s views on how they skated.

Laced Series (Rampworx)

The first ever Laced Comp was held at Rampworx Skatepark in Liverpool on February 4th 2012. With pro riders flying in from all around the globe the event was sure to produce some next level blading, and it did not disappoint!

Razors UK rider Alex Burston took the top prize of 1st Pro followed by his USA team mate Brian Aragon. Jenna Downing won the girls contest and Piotrek Combrzynski won the AM. Joe Atkinson took best trick with a crazy 12 ft gap to disaster Soul.

The LocoSkates boys were out in force on the weekend of the Chaz Invite contest. Loco / SSM riders Oli Short and Leon Humphries were both out rocking the new Shima Skate Manufacturing skates for the first time together.

This is our first official edit / insight into what happened at last years SlammJamm 12 which took place on the 15, 16, 17th Oct 2010 at Rampworx Skatepark Liverpool England.

With so much footage captured over the weekend we have taken our time to break it down into edits which will be dropping over the course of this year in the run up to SlammJamm 13. In this edit you’ll catch a big chunk of the AIL Open contest, snip of the NEWBLOOD’s and a catch of the best trick along with the atmosphere of our community.
